Thread: A slight problem with edging

Good day to you all,
I have a small problem and I would be very much obliged if you, the community, were to help me go over it: when I edge I noticed my shaft isn't very sensible to the touch, nor temperature so, I often ejaculate when I would rather not. Care to provide me with some guidance?

So are you saying that your shaft gets numb easily and this leads to uncontrolled ejaculation? Or is it over-sensitive to touch? For me, when I get numb it leads to trouble keeping the erection vs. early ejaculation.

No, it does not get numb, it doesn't have a lot of sensibility, and when I start to edge it really isn't at 100% erection level, as recommended, so I try to edge harder and I end up ejaculating, which is not the point.

Oh I see. I use to do this quite a bit as well. I kind of conditioned myself to hard stimulation. You should try edging when you are more aroused, and try using slow strokes to get to PONR. If you're not at 100% erection, don't worry about it. Just get as high as you can and try to hover around there. Over time, you won't need to go that hard to reach 100%. When you get to that point, you can edge harder to improve stamina even more.

Bottom line: no need for an erection of the highest level, and slow strokes. Got it, now, I have another question more focussed on how to edge properly. Yes, I stroke my penis until I feel I am about to ejaculate, then I stop and then what? Repeat what I've done?

Ah, yes, I almost forgot to ask this question: is there a way for me to increase the sensitivity on my penis' shaft and glans? If so, please, it would be quite helpful if you were to share them with me.

A big part of edging for me is using my mind. Fantasize about whatever turns you on. That'll keep it good and hard. As for getting more sensitivity, you just need to get a lighter and lighter touch as you edge. The lighter the touch, the more you can last, since you wont make it sore. Sort of tickling parts of the penis. If you can't quite maintain an erection with a really light touch, just go as light as you can get away with for now. Over time, your penis will get more sensitive.

Absolutely. Ejaculation is 90% mental, stroking is just the vehicle we use. Also Everman, you might want to experiment with different kegel techniques, specifically reverse kegels, as they can help you achieve or maintain an erection without nearing the PONR for a longer period of time. This sometimes blurrs the line between ballooning and edging, but both kegels can be used in edging for ejaculation control. Everyone is different though, and it's often a combination of all the topics mentioned in this thread that makes for the best edging.
