I gained 0.5 inches in newbie gains from JP90 which I finished in January 2011. I've been trying different things since then and none of them have worked. After JP90 I tried a routine based around the stretches from the JP90 routine, but with no jelqs (ulis instead). This didn't work. I then went back to JP90 and two days on / one day off, but doing more jelqs than I had as a newbie at different intensities. That hasn't worked in the last few months. Maybe I am overdoing it with 80 reps.
My question is what next?? Looking through the exercises it seems like bundled stretches, or A-Stretches are the ones that I haven't tried. I am not sure whether to go back to trying Ulis. I do need girth, but don't want to gain girth at the expense of length.
Given that I have done so many routines that didn't work I am trying to learn from this, but don't know what to take from it. I am tempted to stop doing jelqs, but maybe I could try them with less intensity and see if that helps.
A-stretches, or bundled, or anything else? I could do with some advice on this.

just look at the routines, people where doing, when telling eg about their success stories.
but 1 thing i learnt from them, is just to stick to your routine,
just make some proposals, about the routine you are possibly going to do over the next 4 months and ask the experienced guys, whether it looks reasonable at least.
i would try this way.
EDIT : it would be very nice, if you made a log from now on. it could be very interesting for people finishing the newbie routines

I wouldn't ever cut out jelqing. Couple it with some edging or ballooning (neither will hinder length) and you should see some nice girth in a few months.Starting stats - June 08': 6'' NBPEL, 4.25'' EG
Initial Goal: 7'' NBPEL
Sept 09': 7'' NBPEL, 5'' EG
Jan 10': 7'' NBPEL, 5.5" EG (begin maintenance routine)
June 11': 7'' NBPEL, 5.75" EG
July 13': 7" NBPEL, 5.9" EG, began jelqing again.
Goal: 7.5" NBPEL, 6.25'' EG
It's a game of inches.

Since you've been at it for 8 months, I would do the one that he started doing after one year. He did 3 on 1 off, try it and see if it works for you. If it's too much (your PIs will tell you), then do 2 on 1 off, it works just as well.
