I actually began serious PE back in 2008 and joined Thunders soon after. I'm a more recent member of this site. Yeah, I guess somethig had to give at some point with how much intensity I was using lol. I'm pretty experienced with conventional forms of PE, just not with advanced exercises like the slinky.

So it's safe to say I'm pretty relieved right now. It's only been a day since the injury, and although it's still bothering me, it isn't nearly as bad as it was. I'm guessing that it will be gone the day after tomorrow at the latest. Even if it vanishes quickly, I'm waiting at least a week before I start the slinkies again, and I'm definitely doing it on a lighter schedule!

Almost 2 years ago, one night during intercourse I suffered a nerve injury to the top left side of my penis (just under the glans.) My symptoms were bizarre (as all nerve injuries are different) but the biggest problem was pain in the injured area during an erect or partially erect kegel. I also experienced minor pain/discomfort while walking around, but oddly enough no pain to the touch. After about one week the pain/discomfort while moving disappeared, but the pain during a kegel was still noticeable. The kegel pain lasted about 3-4 months before it was completely gone. For a brief period of time I also experienced painful urination, which I believe must have been part of the healing process as I was tested negative for STDs multiple times.
I believe ultimately the cure was a combination of rest and a few visits to a trusted Chiropractor. I discovered that I also had a few minor pulled muscles in my groin and left leg, which may have been inhibiting the healing process. My chiropractor fixed my internal wiring, and the pain was noticeably better and eventually disappeared completely.
At the time of my injury I was only on a ballooning/edging routine, though also in a relationship. In the beginning I took a few weeks off before resuming my routine. I soon realized that ballooning and edging did not make the injury worse; in fact getting back into it had a positive effect.
To this day I still get an occasional sensation in the area, but no pain or discomfort. I'm back in a jelqing routine with no problems so far. Unfortunately this is something I have to watch very carefully as it, though seemingly no longer detrimental to my PE aspirations, may be affected for the rest of my life. Initial Goal: 7'' NBPEL
Sept 09': 7'' NBPEL, 5'' EG
Jan 10': 7'' NBPEL, 5.5" EG (begin maintenance routine)

July 13': 7" NBPEL, 5.9" EG, began jelqing again.
Goal: 7.5" NBPEL, 6.25'' EG
It's a game of inches.

By the way, the injury continues to improve. It has now been two days since it happened. I guessed earlier on that it would be gone by tomorrow at the latest. Based on how it feels right now, I may have been wrong. Could take a bit longer than that.. I cannot wait to get back into the slinkies! I haven't done any for two days and I woke up this morning with the same thickness I would normally have after a workout on my previous routine. I think in that one week I actually gained long-term girth! So excited to continue!!!

Oh yes! I have no desire for permanent damage. A functioning cock is more important to me than a bigger cock. I heartily recommend the slinkies for anyone who is stuck in a rut girth wise. Just don't overdo 'em like I did! :-P

Maybe what you have is a bruising not a nerve problem, those heal a lot faster
As a Slinky fan could you please clarify for me whether it targets the smooth muscle or the tunica?

You're asking a bit much there MrB8. I'm no expert on penile anatomy or what exercise targets what. If I had to guess though, I would say the tunica since that always seems to be what limits expansion in the experience of others.
Maybe it was a bruise because it's fading pretty quickly.

Thanks, I'm trying to categorize exercises into tunica/smooth muscle instead of length/girth.
In light of the TGC theory, it makes more sense to address the limiting factor not our direct size goal.
