    Hey guys,

    I joined the site just over a year ago and stopped PE after a month or so due to lack of time(bad excuse, I know).

    I've now started over again, and am having an issue with jelqing. I'm just over a week in and because of the workouts my erections are back to where they were a year ago, however, while jelqing its hard and time consuming to keep my erection down around 50%. I always seem to be at full hardness. So I have to stop and wait til it subsides a little and start over. While I'm sure this isn't a problem as long as i still get the jelqing time done in the workout, my mind is telling me different. If I have to stop and start through out the jelqing portion of the routine I don't feel like the workout goes as well as it could if i didnt have to stop.

    So my question is, what helped you guys to stay at the correct erection level?

    I know masterbating a few hours before can help, but that also makes me feel like the workout doesn't go as well. Advice, input, and past experiences are all welcome. Thank you in advanced.

      Im not so sure if waiting a little bit for the erection to subside is really a big deal. If you're in the beginner stages, then the routine you're on is not just about conditioning your dingle dong, but also about getting used to how the jelq feels. This is just part of the process, so don't worry too much about it.

      I was the same way. I would get hard, need to stop... Now, it's no longer a problem. Like Steve said, it's practice and patience.

        Lol im the opposite. I have to stop, get it 70% with some porn and masterbation and keep jelqing till it drops down!

          I'm well aware of practice and patience. Thats also part of the reason why I didn't continue with PE last year. Big mistake. I would have some pretty nice gains if I would of kept with it.

          Like I said, I'm sure taking a minute break here and there is probably ok. Much better to take breaks and do it right than to do it wrong at full erection. Especially during the conditioning phase. Or in my case, RE-conditioning phase.

            Try watching something while jelqing. TV, videos (nor porn ofc). What I do is the masturbation technique a few hours before the routine (I only do this when I know it will be hard to keep it 30% and below. I find that it works great, in fact, better.

              Try watching TV. I do it in the mirror and look at my unattractive physique.

                Learn to do reverse kegels (RKs). Essentially, you relax your groin muscles and push down with your abs as if you are trying to push out a pee. I find it easier if I breathe out a bit. When you do an RK, your erection should go down. Conversely, when you do a regular kegel, your erection will go up.
