How do you measure girth?

I'm curious as to how people here measure their girth. My girth is 6.5 inches at the base, 5.75 inches mid-shaft and 5.5 inches behind the glans. When I measure, I normally take my mid-shaft measurement as my "girth". However when people quote their stats on here, are they quoting their mid-shaft or biggest measurement, or even the average?

midshaft usually
