  • Penis Stretcher Gains Explained From Medical Studies

I recently bought the andromedical penis stretcher for 240 Euro (200 dollers)

the selling point for me was that they say lenght gains are clinically proven but here comes the bad news....

The clinical studies were all on peyronies disease patients. For those of you that dont know what peyronies disease is: its a scar on the penis from trauma that causes the penis to curve greatly (some as much as 90 degrees), in simple terms thats like having an L shaped penis.

Penis stretchers are clinically proven to straighten out these curves. With straightening out the penis comes longer lenght. For example, if I was to bend my finger and measure it, I get a lenght of 1.5 inches. Now I straighten out my finger and get a lenght of 3 inches. Thats a 1.5 inch gain in lenght!! But my finger hasnt actually increased in size, its just straighter which give a longer lenght reading. Thats exactly how the lenght was gained in these studies. Another example would be: to measure a banana, then straighten it out so its not bent, I bet it gained lenght??

This means that if you dont have a bent penis expect to 'gain' nothing. And if you do, then the more bent your penis is, the more 'lenght' you will 'gain'

    Feel free to comment....

Wouldn't they, in those cases just use a flexible tape and measure the contour. Who knows though. I gained zippo with over 1000+ hrs with a X4 but I am more inclined to think that my penis is just way more resistent than most.

If you use flexible tape measure then the reading will always be the same, a bent banana is 6 inches, if you straighten it out its hardly 7 inches? no its still 6 inches.

"....causes the penis to curve greatly (some as much as 45 degrees), in simple terms thats like having an L shaped penis..." a correction to your geometry, 90 degrees would be an L, 45 degrees would I assume be more like some version of a J... I never liked algebra, math and letters never made sense to me...

No offense, but duh. Never trust studies conducted/funded by the company that is selling the product...

There are independent studies that show extenders work - length gains aren't specifically tied to straightening out a bent penis. Extenders were originally created for this purpose though, and most early studies will have peyronies mandated because of this.

I extended for 1500 hours and gained .8" myself. I started with a very mild (maybe about 8-10 degrees) curve which partially straightened, so my gains can't be attributed to that.

Jimbob, my goal of 2.5 inch gain is very long term, and honestly, probably a little unrealistic based on my dedication. But I've been doing PE for about 3 weeks now, stretching, jelq, and the occasional uli. I have seen no measurable size gains, but have seen a gain in EQ. As far as your opinions on stretchers, I agree for the most part, but I think your measurement techniques may be a bit off... for example, your finger is not going to measure a different length, being bent, versus being straight.
Think of this example, a six inch piece of string. Measure the string from end to end while it lays straight, six inches. Now form a circle with the string, touching one end to the other. This circles circumference will still be six inches. There will be no gain in the length of the string just because of how you form it.
Now the penis being made of tissue, and not thread like a string, may be different. I'm not a doctor. But I do trust the magazine Men's Health and thought you'd like to read an article from Men's Health regarding PE:

                    Good discussion!

Uli's shouldn't be done before 6 months of PE, if you really want to reach your goal and not have an injury to set you back or make you drop out of PE forever, I would stop them.
Yes maybe you think they are fine and you are cautious but an injury comes out of nowhere and so does ED at times. Want to be safe or want to believe doing more than you should will somehow make you gain faster? Because it wont.
Be smart, do a beginner routine if you're serious about PE.

Its not my measurement technique, in my opinion its the measurement technique that they (the stretcher companies) use. ....My bent finger vs straight will not be as long on one straight axis of measurement. For instance, a 6 inch string bent in a semi circle might measure 4 inches in lenght on a solid ruler, straightened will measure 6 inches, simple.
I hope im wrong, as I recently bought the andromedical, but I find it very hard to wear, im uncircumsized, this makes it very uncomfortable to wear as I have to pull my forskin back. My glans are very sensitive when touching of my underwear. And the stretcher keeps slipping off after every 20mins aswell, plus when i put the stretcher on, the tension just maxs out, as in the springs spring out fully, which seems like theres no tension, so as of now i feel robbed of 240 euro

It doesn't sound like you are using it right. If the springs are extended, you need to turn the adjustment screws and/or add more tension rods.

Donjelker. How long did it take to gain .8" in the extender. I put in over 1000+ hours with mine avg about 3-4 hours a day and gained nothing. Bpfsl increased (+ 1")but not bpel. Frustrated as hell with all the time wasted with that contraption fir nothing.
