During an early morning session, I decided to take a quick measurement.
(this after starting a newbie routine; only on for 7days.)
I noticed that my flaccid length was around 5inches, (previously around 4.5inches) and my erection length at a consistent 7.5inches or so. (similar to previous measurments; girth still at 6.2inches).
The strange part was that when I measured (from the side, as I had done before), I noticed that I was not even nearly as erect as I was when obtaining the beginning measurement stats. I was feeling engorged, but not the throbbing type of erection I had days before. I assume that if I was fully erect, there would have been considerable length added.
So, as the saying goes, "The harder you are, the bigger you are."
Is is possible that I may have indeed gained in such a short time? Is this what they call newbie growth? If so, could someone please fill me in on how 'newbie gains' work, and how they taper off into actual permenant gains?
New growth or luck, either way, I am excited to see that with practice, and correct technique that my penis is beginning to respond to its new stimuli, positively.

From my understanding there are 3 ways to grow through PE. Firstly when many guys begin PE there erection quality (EQ) will improve and this will instantly give them a size boost. Secondly guys often get fast gains through ligaments (mostly downward stretching), and what happens here is that if a guy has 5 inches of outer dick and 5 inches of inner dick (total 10 inches) with prolonged ligament stretching he could coax some inner dick out of his body: so if over time the stretching coaxed an extra inch of inner dick out of his body then he would now have 6 inches of outer dick and 4 inches of inner dick (still a total of 10 inches).
Lastly the hardest part of PE is gaining through the tunica because gaining through the tunica you actually have to build new dick. Building new dick is a slow slow process for sure, but after you've exhausted all of your ligament gains and you've got great EQ then gaining through the tunica is the only option for gaining. To gain through the tunica experienced guys will often try to do it through advanced manual or hanging.
To answer your question, you can count your early gains as a gain because if you are bigger than you've ever been then it's DEFINATELY a gain.

Thanks for the advice.
No improved erection yet...matter fact, erections seem harder to come by. The other day, I had to cheat and do an almost on-off jelging routine; meaning that I had to get the 2-3second jelg's out of the way while growing stiff, but the erections would be brief. I have read that eventually the erections while in session become easier to come by, so I'll take this as a beginners side effect for now.
As you mentioned, if the measurement is different, then their most certainly must (to some extent)...a gain. Cool!!!
And...as far as aspiring porn star...lol, a long time dream...since past.
I now genuinely want to keep my unit healthy, strong...and if the sessions add length/girth, then 'hell yes'...
Would be fun to re-live those 'wannbeapornguy' fantasies again. I'll definitely aiming to build the tool to match!

6.5" EG and still looking for more? Nice. Big Girtha reached 7" EG from 5" through P.E. so let that inspire you maybe heh..
As for your question it is probably EQ gains. Most guys report harder or bigger erections within the first weeks if they're doing it right. My erections only got harder :/

Definitely recognizable as EQ gains. They are coming easier, and far too often now. I get a half erection just tzlking and flirting with females close to me. It's like being a 20year old, and feeling that 'beast' within on a daily basis. Quitting smoking, and masterbation is also helping to build the erections I've been looking for.

I used to measure from the side, in the beginning, simply because I was measuring during jelging, which I could (at the time) only do sitting down. Now I measure standing up, from the top. The easy measurement is around 7.2inches, without a bone press, or even being fully erect. (mostly horizontally erect....and I am a 'upward angling' type of guy')
I plan to stick to the 90 day routine, and evaluate then whether or not the EQ gains, coupled with a slight stretch in length helps me to clear that 8inch mark.
