We all see in these forums perople who have 8 inches length and 6,5 inches in girth and so on. I think this may cause us to consider that a 5 inch penis is small, because we tend to compare with these massive members we see in here, and I confess that I think like that, sometimes. We are used to knowing about people who are REALLY endowed, but those guys are uncommon to find out there. Do you think we are going a bit mad because we can see other people's sizes and feel like we are not any big whatsoever even if being above average???

Porn has been doing this for decades. Of course constant exposure to above average penises will distort what you will view as average. This is called Dysmorphia. From wikipedia:

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD, also body dysmorphia, dysmorphic syndrome; originally dysmorphophobia) is a type of mental illness, a somatoform disorder, wherein the affected person is concerned with body image, manifested as excessive concern about and preoccupation with a perceived defect of their physical features

In my experience, most new people coming here already suffer from some form of dysmorphia as evidenced by most users feeling small when they are in most cases average and even above average.

The best thing you can do is educate yourself on what the true average really is. From there you just have to believe in where your measurements put you.

When I first came here I had a sub average dick both visually and statistically. I am now statistically well past the bottom line of average, but visually I still feel below average, though it feels bigger than it once was.

If you feel uncomfortable with your perceived small size, check out "measurection.com." it is a forum where you can learn to live with and even love your perceived or even statistically small size. However, it is strange that non of the members there have enquired how I was able to improve on my size at PEG.
