  • Now things are just getting frustrating

    For as long as I've been PEing, I still can't seem to fix this problem. To be clear: I don't watch porn for one, I'm physically fit, not depressed, and I eat healthy and get enough fluid. Lack of sleep might be the determining factor.

    Anyhow, I can hardly ever even reach 50% erection for my jelqs, much less maintain one when I jelq (it subsides).

    My penis always has a hard time getting up after a workout, unlike the plethora of posts I see saying that they are rock hard when edging.

    Even on off days, I can hardly manage an erection, at best, I get around a 70%.

    Eh, this is just all frustrating... I've been at this for a while and no progress whatsoever. I've already taken a 2 month break off of PE, and restarted JP90 twice.

    I couldn't even get through my routine just now, barely managed 5 minutes of jelqing, 5 minutes of clamping, I kept subsiding. This was after a 3 day rest from my last session.

    Have you thought about supplements and do you kegel?

      I drink green tea, and erection tea every once in a while, I take l'arginine as well.

      I do kegels during my jelqs, and sometimes do my kegel routine once every 2 Days.

      I just don't get what I'm doing wrong, eh.

        Do you get a full erection when you have sex? How about at night when sleeping? You need to rule out a physical reason for this situation.

          Wouldn't know, haven't had sex for almost 2 years. At night, I seldom wake with morning wood. Perhaps this lack of success is making me stressed and uneasy.

          My only reason is perhaps the lack of sleep, 5 or 6 hours can't be ideal; schooling schedule isn't great though.

          If this is my sex drive at its peak, it's pathetic...

            Well, I guess lack of sleep is a starting point since you mentioned it. 5-6 hours is under ideal, but could be worse. If you enjoy naps and can get one in during the day somehow, it may be enough to make up for your sub par night's sleep.

            Here are just a few more tips. Sorry you're dealing with this Koh. You're a good guy, so I hope you solve this.

            1. Take some time away from masturbation. When you're really charged up and ready to go, see if you can't manage a really high EQ - better than your current 70%. When you're just about ready to bust, think about something that really turns you on.

            2. Fewer JP sessions or an easier program. Are your doing 5:2 right now? That's a lot of work.

            3. Jelq before you stretch. Stretches sometimes lower your ability to get a semi for jelqing.

            Keep us posted Koh - and don't let yourself get too stressed out over this.

                Yeah, I can figure that's what is killing me, the lack of sleep always causes me to be drained throughout my days, so I take quite a few naps when I can. I'll just adjust my working habits more so I can make for more quality sleep. And thanks ThirdArm for thinking so.

                Regarding 1. I hardly masturbate because I hardly feel the need so, I've tried to masturbate like once a week, but that wasn't working so well. Yet, I'll try this approach.

                Point 2. I was doing 1:1 or 1:2 depending on how I felt. I'm going to just go on an easier routine. perhaps 10 mins of jelqing, 5 mins clamped, 10 mins jelqing.

                Point 3. I do Jelq before I stretch, I have to start off flaccid and work my way up. I become in engorged; however, there is a noticeable difference from when I jelq this way, and bump my erection up to 50% and try jelqing. I feel like this is way my jelqs ought to be and feel, yet my erections subside rather quickly, even with kegels held throughout the strokes.

                Either way, I'm just going to increase my cardio, think happier thoughts and surround myself with uplifting people, try to get some quality sleep, and meditate more at the moment.

                Will keep things posted, will eventually fix this problem.

                  Sounds like you need to figure out why you have such low libido/testosterone levels before you begin a routine. Have you gone to a doctor at gotten your T levels tested?

                    Might just be in your head. I dont watch porn any more as well. Personally, I have a few go to thoughts that I use to control my eq during my workouts and edging. These thoughts are basically inspired through my life and recent memories. You say you havent had sex in over 2 years. Is there anything going on in your life that turns you on? Say that sexy coworker you talk to every morning and would love to get with. If your not watching porn or being turned on by something in your life, I think I would also find it hard to get hard on my own. I dont have any trouble getting hard but I also dont just take off my pants and pop out a boner because its there... inspiration is everything.

                      Low libido low confidence low testosterone, having a successful seclude will fix all of this. Im almost sure you dont need mere, you need to fix the problem, your not getting sex and affection and its diminished your self image.

                          That seems to be the determining factor, or lack of sleep, which is causing stress I suppose. I'm not particularly depression, just annoying about this situation. I haven't gotten my levels tested yet, I ought to, I hope my insurance would cover it. I don't think these problems are normal for a 20 year old.

                          Also, it might just be in my head. This is my 11th day off of intentionally watching porn, and I'm doing pretty well. Yeah, I have to draw on the sexual memories that happened a while ago, so new memories would be helpful no doubt. As in for things that turn me on, oh yeah, there's a few girls I'd like to get with on this water polo team of mine. I can't help myself staring at their shapely asses and pussy mounds while they're in their high cut, tight suits. I'd definitely love to get with them.

                          I've noticed I can get hard, for example, I was helping out a girl friend with something, my hand touched brushed her vag while I was helping her in her bikini, and then I noticed I was getting an erection. So I have factors that can turn me on, I still find it a challenge at times to get hard on my own. I'd agree, inspiration is everything.

                          Yeah, my confidence is steadily growing, just this low libido and possible low testosterone seems to drain my self confidence. I wouldn't doubt a successful sex life would cure my problem. I'd have plenty of memories to draw from, connecting my brain with sexual scenarios, and be having fun in general.

                          I guess I just gotta force myself out there, get some experiences happening. Two years is too long for me :l I have no reason not to be able to get with a lady.

                            That's exactly what you need to do - get yourself out there!

                            I think what you are going through is fairly normal. For example, I have great and instant EQ ANYTIME my wife is involved. However, getting myself worked up all by myself is a totally different animal and can even be a chore.
