If I make the mistake of overtraining and therefore hurting my penis, i need to take a break from PE. Are there any tricks & tips to speed up the recovery process? e.g. nutrition, hot/cold showering etc.? Also, during healing/recovery periods and resting days off, are kegels allowed?

Do your warm ups a few times a day, it will get your blood flowing and help to speed up recovery. You could also do nothing and just leave it alone. As far as kegels goes you dont need to do them every day. You can take days off and do absolutely nothing, it wont hurt you.Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before
