  • Almost a 1/4" so fast????

After only a couple of weeks in to PE I was quite convinced "WARMUPS" were most important and the warmer the better. The other night my wife made me a rice sock as she was tired of watching me struggle with cups and bowls. THE RICE SOCK ROCKS!!! Ok, having my hotter, easier to apply and mainly "dry" heating source, I decided why not keep applying heat during my exersize and try to maintain extra heat thoughout my entire workout? I did prior to copters and shakes, and it really seemed to lower the discomfort factor. I also use a magnum stretcher, and while in traction I have applied the heat during my stretching session also. I measure when I stretch so as to get the same length of stretch each time rather than trying to guess the tension level. As I was somewhat in a hurry Saturday I didn't think much of it when I measured , but today when I stretched, I also had to add just under a full 1/4" to my fully stretched flacid length. I really don't think I grew that much in a day or two, so could I attribute it to the extra heat? Is it possible the extra heat allows for more stretch? My measurements are consistent so I know I'm pulling longer, I'd like to know why. I'd also like to hear if I'm screwing up or doing something dangerous or risky here. Any comments would be appreciated. My flacid full stretched length has went from 7 1/16s" to 7 3/16s".

I TOTALLY AGREE about the importance of getting your unit as warm as possible before doing you PE routing. And I've been doing the same thing, Phibby - using a flax-seed sock and keeping the heat on throughout the stretches. I'm amazed at the changes I've experienced in 7 weeks.

So theoretically because I warm up suffeciently, live in N.E. FLA during a heat wave, and work in a hot environment, my joint is always warm, it may explain my recent growth spurt?

I'm learning everyday Jon, and I am a HUGE PROPONENT of HEAT!! I always wondered why My muscle toned better in the summer than the winter. ( I work outside a lot) and it takes me back to my baseball days pitching. When I got a good warmup I was firing heat, when I was lazy my arm got really sore. Same Principles I'm sure.

I think the heat definitely helps growth. I go to the sauna at my gym and sit for 30 minutes 6 times a week and I've only been peing 8 weeks and have seen tremendous gains.

                  Congrats on the gains, Phibbys.

On the topic of heat, here's a good thread about IR heat: https://www.pegym.com/forums/advance...html#post36915

I do my PE sessions in a hot shower, an while stretching with the 1 hand i take the shower head an run it over my dick up and down the length as i stretch and as i let it rest before the next one. After i finish my session i keep it heated with the shower head for a little while longer like a warm down, as u would do if u was excerscising.

Do u think this is enough or should i change my method? as u can see ive tried to keep continueous heat throughout my sessions.
