  • Who did this to us??

I've been reading a lot lately on these forums. No doubt they ARE GREAT and everyones experiences make this a wealth of information.

I've got a concern though, there are so many posts about people that are unhappy with their penis size/condition/look etc. These complaints are real- no two ways about it. But I'm addressing the issues that have been bestowed upon us by society. I won't say TOO MUCH HERE IN DETAIL,,,,that is why I'm throwing this out there. What is YOUR opinion?? What's YOUR story?? Why do we grieve over a dick that works perfectly fine?? Why do we feel destroyed if our partner cuts us a look or a comment that seems downright insulting to us?? How do you come above the feelings in your mind??

Remember your comment may help someone, so don't be shy. -and thanks.

Yes, I've had my heart broken, but STILL got my dick. No one will ever take it away from me!

Too many guys equate thier manhood with thier penis size when in reality the penis doesnt make the man. Guys gethurt by comments made by people who have never even seen thier penis, sad.

Very True BigO. Seems that so much relates to a persons mental state. For example, how can a person go from Sad to Happy in their MIND just by gaining size to ones appendage? In my 20's (I'm 57 now) I suffered from anxiety (self healed now) and I can attest that mood is a big big contributor to thinking poorly of ones self or condition. But I have to admit, enlarging my own penis HAS put a smile on my face,,,but it becomes the "norm" eventually too.

I can only speak for myself but there were many contributing factors.
#1 Pornography: Before I ever saw a pornographic movie I had Penthouse Forum. In many of those stories they always talked about men with huge penises and how positively women react to them. Back then (when I was 10-12 years old) I assumed the stories were true. Later, watching porn reinforced this assumption.
#2 Male competitive nature: Let’s face it, men are instinctually competitive especially when it comes to women. We want to be the best she ever had. We want to be the most memorable lover. Having a bigger penis can make you that guy. You can be that “hung” guy that she will never forget (even if it was painful).
#3 Overall low self esteem: Being taught (mostly by society) that we are not good enough in many ways.

Plus in Westernized cultures we are taught subconsciously that bigger is better.

So for me, combine this with the fact that my ex wife cheated on me with a guy who was bigger…and she took joy in providing me with this information knowing full well it would deeply hurt me.

I made my initial gains over 10 years ago, but never hit my personal long term goal. Now I’m back, but no longer have the time/privacy to follow a serious routine (i.e. hours of PE per day). So, I’m just going to make it a habit to do PE most days for the time I have available with the goal of health and EQ…and hope that slow and steady will win the race.
        (Late 1999): 6" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG
        (Early 2001): 7" BPEL x 5.75"MSEG (mostly Hanging/Jelqing)
        Aug 16th 2015: 7.375" BPEL x 6" MSEG
Goal: I have retired from PE - So my goal is just maintaining.

You DEFINITLY have my sympathy Sean. My last EX did a mind trip on me. Took about 2 years for me to get back to being a man. I always say I got my health and my cock and that seemed to help me through the rough time of figuring out what I did wrong. I found out that I did nothing wrong. It was her. (bitch)

Thanks. I'm over the heartbreak. We both did things wrong. I had very low self esteem at that time. But because of what I went though with her I got lots of counseling, read lots of self help books, and improved my life. I'm a better man after going through all of that BS.

Why do we lift trucks, turbo charge cars, super charge boats, blow em, stroke em, cam it, time it, juice it till it blows? Bigger is better. Do you want to be a Jack rabbit or a Jack Hammer? In a world of one upping each other, we get lost in the race. My cars faster then yours, my truck would drive right over that street queen you got! So we want upgrades, big glorious shiney upgrades. I've got all the penis extensions I want, so now I'm left to extending my Dick.

I only wish that the "bigger is better" applied to my belly! LOL But you are right about that.

We do it to ourselves, or an unfortunate lot of us have the bitch ex-girlfriend(or should-be ex) that blames our penis for their inability to be happy. It's part of us. Some people worry about hair, some about style... We worry about our dicks. We are the lost men with nothing left to improve beyond 'superficial' things either because we have ran out of inspiration or we ignore our most obvious flaws. Or we have no flaws .

We improve our penis because it is the physical incarnation of our libido. Libido: Noun - The energy of the sexual drive as a component of the life instinct.

I can feel the emotion in your response. I think as long as we have a pulse, we can change things for the better. Flaws are obvioius to who?? ....to us. :-)

We do it because everybody wants to be somebody and nobody wants to be a nobody, everyone wants to be wanted, we all want to be "that guy" we want the people who we are with to desire us so much that they'd kill for us. We don't want to worry about losing out to someone bigger. Jealousy can be an excellent fuel. It's a shallow way to look at it really.
