  • Edging after PE - good or bad?

    Hey guys and gals.

    Instead of a warm down after my PE session, I've been doing some edging instead (mainly because it is easier to just stay in my room, rather than go out, clean my hands and my unit and reheat the rice sock - I live with my family still...).

    Problem is that I occasionally come from the edging session - I REALLY push it to the edge. I'll be coasting at about a 95% orgasm level the whole time. Just one slight jerk too much, or even a wayward thought could push me over the edge.

    It feels like this will be good for testing my limits and learning my body better, but I also don't want to cum semi-regularly after PE.

    Thoughts?

    The other benefit of edging immediately after is that I get rock hard almost instantly with very little stimulation required.

    Might as well save the loads for when it mathers instead of busting nuts on yourself :P

    Lol but it happens, i just usually do a combination of edging and reverse kegeling on my rest days.

      according to PESG´s sucessfull routine, he also uses edging after the workout.

        Thanks guys.

        I've decided not to edge after PE - I'll just do a regular cool down. I'm not going to include regular edging either, as it makes me masturbate more which I don't really want to do.

        So rather, if I really need to masturbate, then I'll edge first. But I won't edge otherwise.

          i think edging is great. however i tried edging right after my routine the other day, and i didn't get as good a response. my dick was too tired. better to do it when it's feeling strong imo

            I prefer to wait an hour or so after to do it. Better session. I find that in doing it directly after I just end up beating off, rather than edging.

              Personally I find that so far for me (and I am still rather new) the best results seem to be to achieve and maintain an erection after PE and then do a cooldown. When I have edged after a session it seems to make me "deflate," which I assume to be bad as it indicates less blood flow through the area.

              For me this works in that I'm pretty sure it increases recovery right off the bat as well as letting you play around for a bit. Feels psychologically satisfying, just not quite as much as an ejaculation. Seems like a nice compromise.

                I'm a little over half way through the JP90 and I asked this question a few weeks ago.

                The response I got from the experienced guys was that many of them use edging as their cool down. There's no danger in doing so and the benefit seems to be reinforcing the session by filling the penis completely with blood.

                I'm a little surprised one component of the JP90 isn't edging for 10 mins after jelqing.

                I personally edge for 15-20 mins as my cool down.

                I'd suggest you watch your PIs to make sure you can handle it.

                  Edging is great compliment to your PE Routine, when done properly and if your penis can handle it

                  By keeping your penis fully erect for a longer period of time you may be helping with growth, of course overall workload should be considered, and your PIs are the best/only indicative.

                    Thanks for the responses guys.

                    As a bit more background, I'm trying to completely detox from Porn and masturbating. Not for any particular reason, just that I think it is a good thing to do. The problem with edging for me is that it basically amounts to me masturbating more. Also, I thoroughly enjoy it and usually over do it (I edged for about 2 hours the other night) and about half of the time, I'll finally come after getting to the PONR 20 or more times.

                    I guess I could just edge a little, get to the PONR 3-5 times and stop? But I love just coasting there and I end up doing it for much longer.

                    FYI. I find it VERY easy to edge after PE - EQ reaches 10/10 very quickly. So no problems there at all.

                    The problem is that I don't want to be masturbating 5-7 times a week.

                        I tried it, couldn't find any 'magic spots'.

                        Maybe after a couple of weeks of detox, I'll be more sensitive?

                        I've always been able to last ages, provided I can avoid the initial sensitivity in the first 5 minutes or so. After that, I desensitize pretty quickly. So the idea of just being able to get rock hard by gently massaging one spot around that area seems highly unlikely to me... Unless I'm already aroused or get a no-reason boner.
