So I've been doing PE for 3 solid months. I used an extender almost a year ago for a few months as well after seeing it on manswers but I didn't stick with it because I was unaware of PE and the time requirement was killing me. I only just made an account because I can't find an answer to this question. Is it counterproductive to practice length work (extender, jelq, stretches, hanging) while also doing girth work (currently just a Bathmate)? I notice in some post members say girth is harder to gain and should be done second so as not to harm length possibilities. I started at 6' NBPEL, i dunno what flaccid is cus I'm a grower but somewhere around 3 I'd guess. And 4.9 or 5' girth. My girth is almost the exact same on the entire unit. I have seen incredible gains so far even though I put the ruler away to keep myself dedicated in case the gains were slow. But I can just look and tell and so can the girls. I'd guess .5' length and .25 girth. But my flaccid state is the best of all I almost look like a shower now. I think this is just because of the increased bloodflow from excerside and taking supplements listed in articles. So back to the point I'm very happy with how my training is going but I would hate to find out too late that doing girth too early will limit my length, so I wanna clarify now so that if I need to focus on length alone I can do that. So far all I do for girth is use the bathmate I got almost immediately after research and finding PEGym and I love it. I'm not sure how much of the gains are and will be cemented but my master of ceremonies is significantly fatter when I'm done so I know the possibility is there. So length and girth not to be mixed or is it okay?
Also I know the novel was probably painful but while I've made a post I wanted to have lot measurement explained. I don't understand how to find out what my time is. Do I stretch as if looking at a clock? Does anyone ever get a side time like 3 or 9? Or is it some vertical type thing... I'm at a loss but I'd like to figure out if my work needs to be focused on tunica or ligament. I'm trying to focus more on research and solid 'by the book' training now. Thanks for your time guys. Edit: I found the LOT explained in the JP90 routine thread. Somehow overlooked that.

What PE have you been doing for 3 months? Sounds like it's working, so keep it up.
I have heard anecdotal reports of girth gains hindering length gains to some degree. It seems to be the really thick guys that are affected most, but there are no concrete rules that I know of - only anecdotal reports.
Your program is yielding good progress right now. I don't mean to oversimplify your question, but it seems like you're getting what you're after. I would keep going without making any major changes.I am no longer an active member on the PEGym.

Okay, well I guess that's solid advice since it is working I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. I'm about to start the JP 90 routine to try and maximize my gains and get ready for hanging in another few months but currently I wake up and use the Bathmate in my morning bath (used to shower but baths are easier). I do my manual stretches either right before pumping or right after but of course after warm up. Then I either do 200 wet jelqs after that session or just the next time I'm horny. I'm only 23 so if I limit the sex I'm having my trouser snake reminds me of when it's time for my next exercise. Afterward it really depends on what I'm doing that day since my schedule is crazy but somewhere during the day I'll find a few hours to use the x4 extender. It's usually only 2 hours because I can't sit still for 4+ but I figure 2 is better than none. Recently I have added a second use of the bathmate either after I hit the gym or during my bath before going to bed after seeing some positive pi's. Also just found that my LOT is 6 o'clock.

I think you can work on both but not at the same time when you are using a device, hanging, pumping, clamping, etc...
I know when I cement my length which I still do to make sure it stays, I do it later after the my routine (which is girth related) is done and my penis goes back to a full flaccid state given it time to rest some. The question really comes down to intensity and over-training.
If you have a manual routine where both are pretty even and just enough intensity, then there should be no issue even if the gains are slower. JP's routine is one of the such (very balanced).
Now if you have an advanced routine focus on either length or girth, then it is more beneficial to do one or the other spending time only cementing the minor focus area.Begin 7/25/2011:
