Despite being doing PE now for 8 months and thinking that I was well-conditioned, to my surprise for the first time in my PE career yesterday I discovered a pretty nasty and large bruise underneath my shaft, right after i finished my session. It was an odd day where my EQ was suffering and my dick felt bloated (fluid retention from cock ring use), but the routine was the same one that i've been doing. Maybe the only change, which could have caused this, was holding semi-erect bends for 30 seconds instead of 5-10 seconds.
That said, of course I believe based on what i read here that a rest is totally called for at least until the bruises lessens or goes away - it is still there but it has improved drastically (10 hours laters), now it's with a red color instead of that black bruised look.
I was thinking of maybe just doing some stretches today not touching the bruised area and skipping jelqing and all other exercises, then take my rest day off tomorrow and maybe get back to my routine (but with a lighter grip) on wednesday depending on how it looks.
But my question is: how long can a rest break be taken without actually setting me back on my gains (meaning making me lose some of it)? one week? a couple of days? or more?
I haven't cemented my gains yet I believe, so for sure I want to give my dick time to heal but do not want at the same time to run the risk of losing my gains.

Is it a bruise or discoloration? I have a lot of skin darkening but doesn't look as noticeable when erect...it could be that.Started: 7 x 5
