  • Does the fat pad increase with age?

fat pad always increases with age?, or does it increase if you are eating all the time and you do not exercise and don't have a healthy lifestyle?

  • #2
I believe fat pad is genetic and also based on body fat %. Some men have low body fat but have a thick pad. Typically the more bf you have the thicker the pad will be. I lost 30 pounds and my fat pad decreased

I think your lifestyle and or diet would have a greater influence on your fat pad than your age.

Genetics play a big part, but if you gain too much weight and are inactive, the fat pad is going to increase then too.

I seem to remember reading something years ago, but can't recall the exact figure, but it went something like this: for every 20 pounds you lose in body weight, your fat pad decreases by 1/4".

How does one respond with a serious answer to this question? Are you really serious? A first grader will tell you that if you let your body go to shit you are going to gain a lot of weight.

Well, does your weight increase with age? 99% of the time YES. But if you lose weight/fat you also lose your "fat" pad. Dr. Phil (I think) said you will gain an inch of penis for every 20 pounds you lose.

I think the issue is do older guys develope a thicker fat pad than younger guys. In my opinion, the answer is yes. When you get older, the tendency is to increase belly fat faster than other parts of the body. Also, older guys are less able to exercise as often as younger guys. I believe it is generally considered that belly fat is more difficult to reduce than fat on other parts of the body.

I am older and during the warming months do a lot of swimming (laps) in my pool. At the end of summer, my upper body is well toned while my belly fat has hardly been reduced.

Firstly the 20lb is .25" thing is not accurate . Fatpad comes off unevenly ,so you may lose 40lb and have no loss of fatpad and then lose some in the next 20 lb. It is geneticly determined and some guys will have to get down to very low bf% to lose fatpad.

I don't think it is reasonable to expect most guys to maintain 7% bf lifetime and in some cases this may be what is required.

No sorry, and also OneEyedWilly you are wrong as well. I know alot of old people and to be honest it seems to be more common to lose weight with age. Sure, if you were already fat in your 40's and lived an unhealthy lifestyle since your 20's, you will most likely be fatter by the time your 65 (If you make it) and will probably face alot of troubles down the road. But I've seen alot of people that are older and are more or less, "withering away" with the years. Also, come on dude if you took even a half of a second to use your brain, you can EASILY disregard that statement about losing 20 pounds and gaining an INCH of cock. Dude, Even if it was a quarter inch, think about people who weigh 400 lbs? Do they really have an extra 2.5" of dick? I suppose its possible but highly unlikely, and completely situational.

You must mean Dr.Oz. And I think it was 30 lbs.

In any event, that's only applicable to NBPEL, and it's still a very roundabout figure. Guys with fat pads under 1" don't have that much shaft hidden to expose, no matter how much fat they lose.

???? What's your point? Why are you calling me out? All I said was genetics play a role and as you lose weight, your fat pad shrinks. Are you the Fat Pad Examiner and have a study to quote?

Weight gain aside, I'd imagine your fat pad will increase over time just from everything being less tight (saggier skin, less dense fat/muscle maybe?). Not that I pay close attention to the pubic area of men in porn, BUT I've seen younger male pornstars and older male pornstars, neither seem to have large fat pads (except those who are fat bodied). I'm hoping to lose a lot of weight, and fat pad, so in a month or 2 I'll post my fat pad change if I remember so there is some kind of vague rule of thumb (see how accurate 20 lb per .25" is)....Feels like I used a lot of brackets in this post.

No I'm not a Fat Pad Examiner, I am a Common Sense Expert. You said something along the lines of for every 20 lbs you lose, you lose a 0.25" of fat pad. This is not true. That is all I said. But since YOU seem to have all the answers, why don't you quote a study and let me know what you find

Faith and hope is correct on this one as far as I know from my own experiences. I lost over 150 pounds 2 years ago and there is no way that my dick has grown 7.5" in length! It's a question of proportions I guess, a 6" dick will look bigger on a skinny guy and on a fat guy is will look smaller in relation to the rest of the body. I wish the story was true because I would now have a 12+" dick and I so don't...

Bf% goes up as with age until 50's in western populations then it decreases along with total bodyweight.
