I was just wondering, is reading erotic stories just as bad as watching porn?
I like reading stories when i edge.

I tried this a while ago instead of porn.
I didn't notice any increase in EQ due to it although I'd ASSUME it would be better than porn if EQ is your issue.
But if you are worried about the psychological affects, I don't believe erotica is any less removed from the reality of sex. Especially online erotica where you find lots of incest stories among other fethishes.

I read erotic stories when I edge as well, I find the porn movies repetitive and boring. I can get erect without them but I think reading helps pass the time and helps keep it rock hard. No negative effects from it so far.

yup, same here. I did it when clamping.
