How often to do PE and what are some good routines for lengthening?

It completely depends on the person how often you should PE. For some, 2 on 3 off is just right, while for others it's too light. For some 2 on 1 off is just right, for others it's too heavy. (and so on..)

some of the exercises in the beginner routine I cannot do is there any other exercises I can try or do?
