    I am trying to correct my erections at the moment. The main problem is my erection angle. I am able to get it hard, but my perineum and erection lengthwise could be a little bit harder/erect in my opinion. In the past I used to jelq at a lower erections (30%-50%) combined with some stretching. I noticed back then that my EQ would drop, however if I jelqed at higher erection levels, I would get harder erections. Why is this the case? And is it normal. I actually never saw any benefits from jelqing at a lower erection level.

    EQ is all about balancing length and girth. Jelq low - to stretch and create more tunica thus requiring more smooth muscle to fill it. Jelq high - to create more smooth muscle to fill the now expanded tunica resulting in higher EQ. That's the theory. So far, I will definitely back it up. I don't think anyone has refuted it.

      So should I jelq on higher erection levels. I also noticed that my erection feels pretty hard, but I am able to move my erection up and down and left and right without a lot of resistance from my perineal area (perineum/the part between my balls and anus). Before PE, my penis would like to push it self back to my erection angle. It would resist against pointing my penis somewhere else.

        Correct. Higher erection jelqs to increase smooth muscle available to fill the tunica to increase EQ. (Focus on Girth exercises for EQ.)

          Thanks LilNudeDude. I decided to give some sort of an update. When I was showering today I decided to jerk off. Normally I jerk off with porn, however this time I tried not to stimulate myself mentally (thinking about things that make me horny) or visually (watching porn). And I noticed that two things happened. Number one was it took me a shitload of time to get erect and the second thing is, my erections where with an increased erection angle.


          I actually was planning to jelq a little. So I started stroking my penis how I normally would do whenever I jerk off, but this took a long time to get me erect without porn. After a while I was getting more erect and was able to do a couple of jelqs, but without staying erect for more then 10 seconds. This is how my erections usually are when I watch porn. After a while I decided to try something else. This is where things start to get interesting IMO. Instead of stroking my penis I decided to jelq my penis up and down, maybe jelqing isn't the word to use, but you should think about it as if you are mastrubating while you are squeezing your penis a little. After a while I got rockhard and my erection angle was way better than usual. I also measured my erection and it was showing my length which I only have when I am close to cumming. The temporary 'gain' of 0.5 cm mainly comes, because of my glans getting bigger, but I also had an increased erection angle. So basically when I pushed my penis around it pushed back which normally doesn't happen.


          Can anyone explain me why somehow I do get rockhard like this? Does it have to do with the way I jerk off or with the fact that I didn't have watched or thought about porn?


          PS: When I normally jerk off to porn I usually try to watch a lot of porn, so to make sure that I don't cum I don't jerk off constantly. Is it possible that because of this combined with PEing in the past (the basic PE routine without the kegels) my penis (or glans) 'thinks' that it is fully erect while it isn't?

            Also normally I don't have morning wood or night wood. Barely erections during the day and my perineal area (perineum) feels weak. When I jerked off the other way my perineal area wasn't weak.


            For a couple of weeks I had also tried an all stretching routine. And the only thing happened was that I would get a weaker flaccid penis. I didn't lost length, but somehow my flaccid penis felt less filled with blood. The morning and night wood disappeared completly after this, and I ended up having no erections at all during the day. It really was frustrating. After I stopped my erections slightly got back to normal, but I still don't have morning or night wood. And the rare ones that I do have dissapear within 10 seconds. Is all of this just 'muscle memory'?

              Hey There Wuddup. I'm not sure if you understand what's behind PE. So, please don't take offense. I'll try to break this down for you. It's all here in the forums, It just takes some time poking around to find the answers. The "Start Here!" in your upper left menu is the best place to begin. I find myself still doing this periodically to find answers.

              It all boils down to two things; Tunica and Smooth Muscle. The Tunica is what limits your length and girth. Smooth muscle, or rather how much is available to fill the Tunica, determines your length and girth POTENTIAL.

              1) Any exercise used to move blood around inside the penis is to exercise and create more smooth muscle, I.E., Jelqing. What you describe, in the shower, is actually dry jelqing. I assume you are squeezing and moving skin back and forth on you shaft. It has the same effect. The more smooth muscle you have to fill the Tunica increases EQ.

              2) To create girth, requires stretching the Tunica to outward to enlarge circumference through a prolonged increase of internal pressure; Higher erection level Jelq, Clamping, and edging are good examples. Again, what you did in the shower, is in part, edging. It is prolonging your erection by masturbating for an extended time by stopping before ejaculation, referred to as Point Of No Return or PONR, and restarting.

              3) To create Length, requires elongating the Tunica through ANY form of stretching exercises; Low erection jelq, timed tugs, windmills, slow crank, hanging, ADS, etc.

              Anytime you focus solely on Girth OR just Length, you will create more space needed to be filled inside the Tunica. Hence, you will need to create more smooth muscle to fill it. More space + Less smooth muscle = Lower EQ. More smooth muscle + less space = Higher EQ.

                Keep in mind that your PC/BC muscles can simply get tired (or injured), like any other muscle, and the result is (temporary) lower EQ.

                    Maybe because the lower % jelqs give you more of a stretch, and stretching tends to lower my eq as well.

                        LilNudeDude, thanks for all the help, I understand how PE works. But I think that somehow my erections and a couple other things tricked me into thinking my smooth muscle wasn't the problem while in reality it actually was.


                        My history of PE to clear things up:

                        Maybe I need to give some information about my history. I first started PE a couple years ago and gained 1/2 inch in length and girth with the newbie routine (warming up, stretching 30 seconds to every direction, jelqing at an erection of 30%-50% 200 times, kegeling 50 times and warming down). I neglected the kegels. I think that my newbie gains come mainly through my suspensory ligaments. After my newbie gains I stopped gaining. And stopped PEing for a year.

                        After restarting PE on and off I noticed that I didn't gained anything when I jelqed at lower erection and also the stretches didn't do anything besides giving me a little bit of BPFSL, and making me pee more often then usual, I think that this has to do with the weak corpus spongiosum.

                        So I stopped again and this summer tried to correct my erections with kegels and jerking off on a regular basis.

                        After the holidays I tried to restart PE. However I changed up my stretch, because all I noticed was that I was stretching skin, but no actually penis. So what I did was, I pulled my skin as back to the base and gripped my penis 1 inch off my base. The first couple days I gained BPFSL and no erect length. However my spontaneous erections dissapeared and I had to pee on a regular basis again. After a week also my flaccid penis felt filled with less blood. So I stopped again. My erections went back to normal (almost fully erect), however the spontaneous erections didn't come back and my BPFSL dissappeared.


                        How I solved (partly) my erection problem:
                        A couple of things made me not realise that my corpus spongiosum, glans, dorsal vein and inner penis caused my erection problem. Down below I tried to explain everything.


                        Problem number one was, my corpus spongiosum wasn't hard and my dorsal vein wasn't visible when I was erect. However my the left and right side of my corpus cavernos do feel rockhard, because when I mastrubate I put pressure on those parts with my grip. And since they are the biggest visible part of my penis I didn't notice that the smaller less visible parts (my corpus sponigosum, glans and inner penis) of my penis were causing some problems.


                        Problem number two was, when I watch porn I like to watch it for extended periods of time. Because of this, I barely put pressure on my penis. The rockhard parts got rockhard, but I didn't noticed the soft parts. And since my corpus cavernosum felt hard enough, I didn't gripped my penis harder. This also made my cum prematurely without actually realising it. Because the stroke was too soft, my glans got too sensitive and barely ever reached it's maximum state of erection.


                        And number three was, my erections where almost fully erect lengthwise, but the last 0,5 cm of erection would only appear a couple seconds before I started to ejaculate. I never understood this and blamed it on PE and thought that it was normal. Also my spontaneous erections had dissapeared a couple months ago for good. I found out that this was caused because of my glans or corpus spongiosum. When I started stroking with some pressure on my corpus spongiosum and dorsal vein, my penis got fully erect lengthwise and also my glans looked bigger.


                        I tried some kegeling first, but found out that all it did was shrinking my penis, without giving me any type of spontaneous erections.


                        So nowadays I stopped watching porn for extended periods of time. And I also stopped jerking off dry with a too soft grip, and started using lube. My corpus spongiosum got harder, my dorsal vein got a little bit visible, my glans is a little bigger when erect, my erection angle improved (not fully but it is better than before) and also my spontaneous erections got back. Even the kegels felt different when I did some the other day.


                        *The only things that I didn't managed to get fully erect so far, are the parts where my corpus spongiosum gets in my body (this is the part between my balls) and my perineal area. Does anyone has suggestions how to get those parts more erect, because I can feel that these two parts should be able to get harder?


                        PS: Sorry for the long post, but I didn't know how to clear things up otherwise.

                          That was a bit to read through. Very interesting though. Sounds like you have a good grasp (no pun intended) on your physiological indicators.

                          I forget what thread I read it in. But someone else had had brought up that they had been doing a "deep" jelq. I picked up on it and like how it feels. For me, it has made a difference in intensity of my erections along the whole length of the penis including what basically amounts to your crotch area.

                          Wet jelq only. I grab back as far as possible between my legs, keeping the finger tips against each other, until I can wrap completely around. You are only going to reach so far back anyway and still "touch" your fingers together. It takes a little practice. Just go through the motion slowly, the first few times. I slip the other hand in to hold the scrotum and extra skin back when I get to the shaft. I alternate hands with each stroke to work an even pressure and pull all around. Caution: watch the finger nails! It did take practice to not scratch myself up. It helps if you can keep your nails really short.

                          This is about the only suggestion I have. This plus kegels is the best way to work that area, that I can think of.

                          If you find a better option, let me know too, please.
