I started wearing an extender for 8 hrs per day last week plus some occasional stretching to help out. The first days I saw an excellent increase in libido, morning wood and flaccid length, but by the end of the week my libido decreased and morning wood too. What could have happened? I got dissapointed..
Btw, this is the first time I do any PE.

Possibly over-training. Cut back on the hours or intensity of your workout maybe.

Definitely mix in some rest days to regain morning wood, erection quality. You may want to find the balance between extending and rest days that lets you see better flaccid hang, eq, etc.

In my first year of extending, I willingly sacrificed the MW, EQ, etc to get in the hrs. I think seeking a good balance between extending and days off, is the better way. (having tried both).Valued Member of 10 years at the PEGym

I agree about negative PI's. I can only wear my sleeve for five days straight 12-14 hours. Then I have trouble with getting erections and morning wood. I know it's time to take a break.

Hahaha, yeh I am tied up to a computer in the PE Gym basement, being fed fish-heads and water all day... Occasionally, one of the admins comes down and whips me to work harder
To the OP, I agree with what Dangler said, I go in patterns of just getting the hours in with my extender over drops in EQ. I think an optimal level is best. I only need my EQ to be at its best at the weekends, so I am willing to sacrifice a slight drop in EQ during the week. You have to weigh up your options.

From those posts it seems that a decrease in MW does not at all preclude gains, and should not necessarily be taken as a negative PI when it comes to gains; can you expand a little more on that?
IMO, no MW or decrease in EQ means it's time to take a break to allow the smooth muscle to recover and grow; is that not necessarily the case?

Decreased morning wood and EQ levels is a sign of over-training, and with signs of over-training come an increase in the possibility of an injury and/or a drop in EQ levels, which would overshadow any potential gains. If you don't have good EQ, then you won't have good gains. You have to thread the line between pushing yourself enough to see gains but not too much to over-train. What is the point in having a 10 inch dick if you have an EQ of 5!

You said that you're willing to have a drop in EQ during the week in order to do a harder workout, implying that the temporary drop in EQ is completely fine. And you say that the drop in EQ overshadows any potential gains rather than precludes them; seems like someone could theoretically just keep hanging while their EQ drops as long as there's no real injury since hanging just causes plastic deformation and then work their EQ back up afterwards though, although then they'd have to increase smooth muscle when they're done. I guess it's a balance, as you said.
So what would your EQ be during the week compared to normal/on the weekends? Wondering so I get a sense of the balance you reached.

Yeh exactly. Try to keep a balance between tunica and smooth muscle exercises and you should be okay. At the start of the week I would have an 8 - 8.5 EQ. This would dip to around 7-8 by Thursday because Mon-Thurs are my intense PE days. Then by the weekend it would be back up to 8 - 8.5.
PIs should be kept in mind for newbies so that they know how to balance their routines, so that they don't do the "more is better" attitude which totally fucks guys' dicks up. Slight drops in EQ are nothing too much to be worried about, but if you are a 10 EQ and you drop to a 7 EQ then it is a sign you are over-training and should cut back on either the quantity or intensity of your workout.
