    Hey guys I have a 5 on 2 off routine but yesterday i couldnt do it (the fifth day), should i do it today, rest tomorrow, and restart normaly on monday? or what do you suggest, i dont want to overtrain but im not sure whats the best thing to do.

    Take it as a rest day, with this weekends rest. No biggie. Start back Monday, and next week, get your 5 days in!

    You will be fine either way. I usually rest on weekends too, 5 on and 2 off.

    Yep, I agree. Either way will be fine.

    No harm in taking an extra rest day every now and then, it may actually do some good.

    If you miss a day you miss a day. Over the course of a year or years you will miss many days. The key is not looking for excuses to miss. If I simply don't feel like doing PE on a particular day, or something comes up that prevents me, so be it. I have lifted regularly for well over 30 years, so I know when I am bullshitting myself.
