Using the forum seach engine I didn't find an answer to this question so here I am. When applying a rice sock how hot is too hot? First time I used one I nearly burnt my old fella off. Somewhere between blood termperature and too bloody hot I guess but I find it difficult to tell I've heated the thing too far until after I've had it in place for a while only to find the pain is telling me to stop. As it takes a while for an overheated rice sock to cool down to a sane level this can be annoying. Any clues guys?

Definitely not hot enough to burn you... It should be warm but not hot enough for pain.

Has anyone found a smaller electric heating pad? All the ones I've seen so far are big enough for an elephants dick.

I prefer extreme heat. I heat my rice sock for 2 1/2 minutes and only apply it for 20-30 seconds at a time.
