Those of you who started out big - what motivated you to do PE?

I've told my story many times before. I started at 6" x 5.25". My ex-wife cheated on me and then, later, took great joy in telling me that her lover (one of her lovers) was much bigger than me (just to hurt me). I became determined to "fix" that issue. I don't know if I ever reached the point where I was actually bigger than that guy, but I did succeed in making myself bigger. After that I just found that I really enjoyed PE.

Men are naturally competitive. Men naturally put a tremendous amount of value on sex. Combine these two things and men want to be the biggest and best when it comes to sex. Add in how much our western society pushed the importance of having a big penis. I see references to this all the time in movies, TV shows, advertising, jokes, etc.

Wow man thats horrible, im so sorry. Some people can be so cruel. As weird as it sounds even though that was a horrible experience, it worked out because you are no longer with that woman and you are now improving yourself for someone that does deserve you.

Ive had almost every liver bring up their ex or previous lover and how massive/huge they were. Im just tired of it and want to get to a size that I know is well above average where im confident enough that I can hit any necessary spot that needs to be hit. I have competitive personality and have always improved myself if I have the ability to. Ince I found out that I did have control of changing my size I knew that if I put in the effort I would eventually get results. I feel im a hard gainer but if I can make it a part of my scheduls/lifestyle, gains will accumulate over time.

I can see how hard that would be to experience but I give you mad respect for takig action and moving on in a positive fashion.

Well I didnt grow up with the internet and had no way to compare I really didnt know what average was I just always assumed I was below average. My size never bothered me until my wife cheated on me one time ( im not beating down my wife she is a good woman that made a mistake ) anyway I got all these thoughts of "What if he is bigger than me" and "What if he made her feel things I never will because of his size" and Id ask my wife and she'd say "I don't know who was bigger they are all the same" then id think "Ok he is bigger and she liked it but doesnt want to hurt my feelings" it was a never ending spirol of doom and this site helped me out of it. I really dont care too much about size anymore but I still do PE as a hobby. Me and the wife have learned alot in the last few years about each other.

I hate it when women bring up huge past lovers. It is ridiculous. Imagine if the guy was talking about how huge his last lover's breast were, or how incredibly tight her vagina was (It was so tight I could barely get in!), or how she could deep throat like a champ. I'm certain it would make the new girl feel horrible.

The other thing is, women just can't judge size. Quick story: After I left my exwife I moved in with a friend. I had already made my initial gains from PE and had developed a deep understanding of penis size averages. My old roommate met a girl online. She flew up from Texas to visit him. After the first time they had sex she tells him that's she's been with 8 other guys and all of them were over 9" long. I come home from work and they are in the living room. Oh wow. Yea it seems like every chick has been "lucky" enough to somehow find a huge one. I do believe they are out there but I do believe they embelish quite a bit. Last gurl i was with brought up her ex was like double digits. Later on she admitted she exaggerated and actually measured. Smaller than she said but still rather large. I do think that some girls dont understand how much of an impact they can have on a mans ego. Then theres the girls that do know and use it to their advantage. My goal is to get to a size that even if theyve had bigger, it would be no difference as it would be unusable. I doubt many chicks will say "your 9" is great but I had a guy that was 10 and it was amazing." At that point she would sound like a jackass.

I can't remember where I read this, but somewhere on this site is the claim that a large percentage of men who start PE are above-average in size. I find this fascinating. I would assume most guys start out small, but judging by a lot of people's starting stats, that doesn't seem to be the case. I just don't understand why anyone who's already 6.5x5.5 would devote so much time and effort to getting bigger if they're already big to start with. I'm not trying to insult anyone; I'm genuinely curious. Enlighten me. If you were already hung, what made you want to hang lower?

It is simply no different that you wanting to enlarge it yourself. Who has actually looked you in the eyes and told you your dick needs to grow? Our minds are poisoned by what we have seen in pornography or been hinted at by that one whore in college. Everybody has their own goals, some want a bigger dick. Nature has it that we want more than what we have in a majority of things. Take money for example; People need maybe 30 grand a year to be well off in the world. Many, however, go to great lengths for over 100 grand a year.
It is the individuals mind that plays a part on deciding if he is what he deems enough.

Im not hung or whatever but Im little above average in length and maybe(I think) 0.5-1" above average in girth but that doesnt matter now, what matters is that I have large hands and my penis just looks small in my them and Im pretty tall, about 185cm(~6'1'') and when looking my self in the mirror its just seems small compared my body. Thats the reason I started PE, it just looks small to me.

Exactly! Its like a backhanded compliment. I hear that as well. Even a "I dont really like big dicks" comment right after she tells you she LOVES yours is like a sneaky way to hit your ego. Starting out with 7.5 inches I suppose I am well over average. And I know that. I also know that my dick is more than big enough to satisfy anyone and I have received compliments on it from 3 out of the 4 girls I´ve been with. But I still want it to be bigger. So I do PE.

I found my first porn mag when I was 10 and have pretty much followed the development of internet porn after that up until I quit this year. While watching porn I usually watched vids with big dicks. Just more action in those vids usually. So my guess is that watching dicks that were bigger than mine please women (or at least give the impression of pleasing) for 12 years gave me the impression that I was smaller than I should be. I know for a fact that this isnt true. I am much bigger than the average. But that doesnt matter. Because the average I compare myself to in my mind is the average I have seen in porn for all these years.

Not that there is anything wrong with that though
