    I didn't get a chance to read the whole thread (I'm having problems connecting to the site), but how does the top base of your penis attach to your pubic area? I ask because there's a huge curve with mine instead of attaching perpendicular which makes it virtually impossible to measure consistently. I've pretty much given up ever getting an accurate and consistent nbel measurement.

    Yes, it is possible imho.

    I actually wonder if this may be due to a 'softening' of the ligaments / Tissue surrounding the base where the penis attaches, allowing one to press in further with the ruler? I have noticed at times my BPEL will go up slightly, while my NBP stays the same, and I really haven't had any fluctuations in bodyfat.

    Since I measure my BPEL with the ruler on its side I don't press on the ligaments, so in my case this is unlikely, plus I took on the habit of pressing as hard as I could early on.

    I measure NBP with the ruler flat though...

    I think it's more of a matter of the ligs progressively making a bigger curve between the bone and the shaft. The ligs are anchored on the pubic bone above the shaft, then are kind of suspended from there to their anchor point on the shaft. Assuming this anchor point didn't change, it makes sense as I gained length that the suspended part of the ligs would have started pulling on the fat pad, especially since I strongly suspect that a good part of my gains came from the lengthening of a weak section near the base.

    Now that I've managed to lose some of the weight I had been putting on since the spring of 2013 when I quit smoking, I can clearly see a slight protrusion in the middle of the fat pad from the ligs, and I certainly don't recall it looking like this before (I gained 1/4" of BPEL in the meantime). It's even more evident in photos.
