  • getting through plateau

    I'm Kind of stuck right now, well actually it been more than two months i guess and i realized that my gains have stopped, so unfortunately i hit a plateau.

    I PE religiously 2 days on 1 off, and it has always seen like that way.. i have changed different routines every month to see what works best for me..

    I haven't been constant with kegels lately and i know that promoting more blood to the penis helps with ganing, but i get afraid sometimes to unbalance my pelvic floor and tighten too much the pc muscle..

    What can i do to get back gaining again?

    Suggestions:

    Change up your routine by adding in new exercises and dropping some of the old ones.
    Increase the number of days per week (example: 5 on 2 off).
    Increase your intensity with your current routine.
    Take a 1 month break and then start back to PE.
    (Late 1999): 6" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG
    (Early 2001): 7" BPEL x 5.75"MSEG (mostly Hanging/Jelqing)
    Aug 16th 2015: 7.375" BPEL x 6" MSEG
    Goal: I have retired from PE - So my goal is just maintaining.

        I'm on my seventh month, so as Reading one of the threads you linked me, i already past the honeymoon period and gains have definitly stopped..

        I might follow the tgc theory, therefor on a length based routine..

        If i don't see gains by the end of my 30th day of my current routine, i will change things up!

            Here is everything in order:

            - Jp's 90days routine - gained +0.2 in length in 3 months
            -Big al's free jelq routine - gained +0.2 in length in 1month
            -Custom routine - 10 ulis, 100 jelqs and kitv's for 2 months -no gains
            -Current routine - 150 high erection jelqs and 15 squeezes in between jelqs, 100 kitv's and 5min jp streches -haven't measured Yet

              Okay, I will give you a tip from what you just described. You gained with routines that combined jelqs and stretches, or the squeezes and stretches. The routine you did not gain with, you eliminated all stretches. See where I am going with this? Okay, so your dick responds well to the combination of both jelqing and stretching, so go back to that style of workout then, I would say.

              In relation to length and your BPFSL, you said that if you followed a length based routine from the TGC, so I am guessing tunica is definitely your limiting factor, hence why the stretches were beneficial in your earlier routines.

              Your current routine is not hitting your tunica enough, I would totally alter it. I would like to suggest a stretching routine that I did, which I really really liked. You could do some kind of jelq or squeeze exercise to start with, then follow it with a stretching program. The pattern that I really like and felt was awesome was - directional stretches, bundled (plump) stretches, bundled (totally flaccid) stretches, A-stretches, and finished with tunica tugs. Wow-eee, did my unit respond well to it. Maybe do something similar?

                Kickin definitely made a point, it could be the lack of stretches that is hindering your gains.
                You also need to consider the fact you only gained length with the first routines, so one could say the stretches worked for you and gave you length, when jelq and girth work didn't bring anything. Then you removed the stretches and therefore stopped gaining.
                What are your goals, length or girth? (or both)
                From your last two routines it looks like you're going for girth , how is your EQ ? Do you edge?
                If you want length, kickin gave you good ideas on the exercises, if I were you I would make sure to exhaust gains from ligs and basic stretches before moving on to bundled and on ther tunica stretches.

                    Well just thinking about it, kickinthemebs Made a good point on why im not gaining any more, i was hoping to gain both length and girth from my current routine, even if i would like more girth over length now, because if i change to a focused length routine, i won't expect girth. everything you said makes sense to me. thanks for the big help.

                        Girth takes ages to see gains with usually, and there is a tendency on the forums for most people (including myself) to be hard gainers when it comes to girth. Meaning, that we would have to do routines solely focused on girth and usually some of the more intense girth-work and routines.

                        It usually has to be more concentrated and specifically focused than gains from length (where you could do a girth-length routine and be successful). I know my girth gains came when I did a girth only routine for a few months. When I did length and girth together, I got nothing. It might be worth thinking about if you want to gain more length, do a length-focused routine, and then come back to girth down the line.

                        I am not saying eliminate your girth exercises, but just be aware that you are only keeping them in there for conditioning for future more intense girth-work. If girth gains appear before then, it is only a bonus, but I wouldn't be expecting them.

                        For myself, I followed Namso's train of thought (see his girth routine sig), and applied the order "clamping-manual girth exercises-long duration low pressure pumping" to good effect. For many many months, simply jelqing and squeezes,ulis, etc didn't cut it. Girth tends to need more of a "push" to gain with than length, for most of us guys.

                          I understand that girth i waay more difficult too gain over length and Probably As you said, it requires a girth only based routine to expect actual gains.. it seem odd that in 7 months of my pe journey i haven't gained any girth.. on the contrary, i think i lost a couple of milimeters.

                          I remember posting this on a different thread, and what i read was: in order to see eventually girth gains, you have to max out your length gains..

                          But im not sure if this is true and has seen tested.

                            Nope, not true at all. One can definitely concentrate just on girth and gain girth instead of length, even when their length gains are not maxed out. I, for example, did a 3 month intense girth routine instead of length. Gained 0.2 girth, and didn't gain any length. Then I focused on length after that and have gained in that since.

                            There is a theory of length first and girth second, but that should be taken with a pinch of salt. I would recommend people to focus on length for different reasons though, because your unit would be well conditioned for serious girth sessions later on if you concentrate on length work to begin with.
