He did say:
...what did me in at the time was the perception that every woman has had a 9" dick and that was the ideal standard for them. I no longer believe this...
But I do believe that this was a past concern, and not a currently held belief. Thank God! Cause that is an awful feeling to carry around for sure. The difference between a winner and loser is, I don't date losers.

Andros,
Thank you for taking the time to reply with such a detailed post. While I don't believe that PE is particularly dangerous, I also drink coffee out of cups that warn me it is a hot beverage. I don't think coffee is dangerous either. But, people have been injured by coffee, so I can't say that it's always 100% safe.
I did think that you were trolling. But I feel I was mistaken, and I truly appreciate your taking the time to set the record straight. My most important takeaway from what you wrote is this:
I would never encourage anyone to do something they feel is not worth the risk. That is a personal decision and I support you on that. I also appreciate your effort to share the other angles that you are working on. Regardless of one's feelings about PE, greater sexual confidence and the elimination of our misconceptions, negative beliefs, and insecurities is a goal many of us are here to achieve. I am delighted to see that in spite of some disagreement concerning safety, there is such an overwhelming area of common ground.
Thanks again!
Good luck on your journey! The difference between a winner and loser is, I don't date losers.

Permanent injury is just nonsense. Most are just minor ones or guys overreacting. Everything in life carries a risk, following guidelines and being clever will avoid injuries.

But I do believe that this was a past concern, and not a currently held belief. Thank God! Cause that is an awful feeling to carry around for sure.
It might be important to the women who are primarily looking to sleep with the hottest guys, but then that's not the type of woman I would want in my life anyway.
And if a woman really has had 8" - 9", and I'm truly not good enough? there's the door, there's a ton of women who haven't had a huge one and will like me for my other physical traits and personality.
In the end, really, you have to become selfish to an extent.
I agree about the overreacting part, but my biggest complain is that most of the information for a total beginner is severelylacking.
Just to give you another example. I'm uncut, so the first time I used the Bathmate, along with hurting my spermatic cord (on which there is next to zero info) I also hurt my foreskin at the frenulum, because the suction pulled my foreskin down as my penis got pumped up. That hurt like a bitch. Zero info about issues like that anywhere on the web.
And when I tried to do manual stretching, I once hurt my urethra right at the point where it enters the body. Probably from not using enough heat and/or pulling too hard.
Every single video I see online (from different sources) about manual exercises, IMO is pulling much too hard for a beginner!! I wonder how many guys have injured themselves like that, simply due to lack of knowledge and lack of knowing what your personal limits are.

Ah come on,the amount of informadon't go kn and ask for for beginners is not only abundant but nearly overwhelming there is so much. Just look at all the great links MrB8 provides members when they join. The start here thread has around 30 threads within it. It is difficult to give clear descriptions for manual cos one person's firm is another person's choke-hold. Pumping, hanging and extending is a lot easier to advise on cos we have weights, tensions, and time we can advise on. Even then, half the guys on here still ignore us. Most don't read the Threads we advise either. They don't ask the advice from the many reps, including BM,on here.

So you pulled too hard? Why would you do that? Were you going to get bigger faster? When you thought about doing pe and maybe you weren't clear on things did you ask for help?
The world's still a toy if you just stay a boy!

I make you an offer Andros, you take one or two months off (if you haven't already), and you start completely fresh and anew. You introduce yourself like a newbie in the right subforum, we welcome you, provide you with the links, you read all of them (safety is a good start), learn the physiological indicators by heart and write a detailed log in the progress subforum (tightness of jelqs , EL, PIs after the work out, PIs the next day, same for stretches). Everytime you have a work out you write it down in your log. You pay attention to your PIs, start very low in intensity and work your way up gradually, still monitoring your body responses to the work outs.
Your first goal will be to have a superb EQ.https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html
Quality jelqs / Moving squeezes
Off to the real world.

Andros,
This is the advice I would take from here.
IMO you're still here for a reason, you gave a full hearted explanation. We are here as a community to help anyone get through the rut they are currently in. You've had some bad starts, but I believe you have learned from them and can have great success. Wether or not you are as insecure as you used to be, seeing gains will boost anyones confidence.
I think you will find a lot of us have given you helpful advice on this thread and we do that all over the forums, you just came off the wrong way. It should never be about attacking someone or saying we are here for the wrong reason. Everyone has their reason for being here and so many of us have seen success.
So if you are ever in this tough spot again, ask for advice and you will probably be overwhelmed with how generous people are here.
Best of luck,
JL
