    Hey starting to do Ulis
    Have a few questions

    1. Can I do them at 80% erection level instead of 100%. I feel like 100 will be to damaging to my vessels

    2. I will do 1 rep of 30 seconds in my first session and increase the reps over time. What is a good rep range to eventually work up to and stay at?

    3. How many seconds rest should you have in between reps?

    4. If Ulis is basically manual clamping then why are people clamping for 10minutes and ulis is just a hold for 30-60 seconds?

    5. Are you suppose to slide your grip up the shaft after the 30 seconds?

    Hi gym,

    Here's how I do them, not sure if it's 100% correct but works for me.

    Get 100% erect then let it drop to about 80-90%
    Grip as near to pubic bone as possible, position hand so pressure feels as even as possible and squeeze.
    Keep grip static first 10 seconds, slowly move an inch upwards for a further 10 seconds, slowly move back to start for remaining 10 seconds.
    Gently massage base area for 30 seconds then start again with opposite hand.

      1- Yes, 80% or 90% will give you more room for expansion, it will be more effective and less risky.

      2- Start with 10 seconds and work your way up (gradually) to almost a minute.

      3- About the same time as your ULI hold.

      5- ULI's number 3 is more advanced, keep it for later.

        how many reps should I aim to work up to? I hear people do 30-60 seconds of 5 reps, is that what I should work up to in a few months time or more reps?

          That would be okay, but gradually and slowly, and monitor your PIs closely, they will guide you best.

            Work your way up as Mrb8 suggested, but you can do more than 5 within a few months.
            I'd say increase intensity every second session (or every week) , and monitor your PIs to know if you need to cut back on it or if you can keep working your way up.

              Did a session just then, I did ulis as my last exercise, kept it light, 10 seconds hold for 3 reps. Throughout my 1 year of PE experience I learned that injuries set you back alot, so I am doing it very slowly and gradually building up to reps advised by you guys

              Just a question, when I did the Ulis my erection level kept falling throughout the hold, is it okay to watch porn to keep it at 90% (my desired level).

              And when I do my squeezes is it okay to take a 2minute break before I do Ulis. It feels like I need to re-heat and warm up again.

                I suggest you do one Uli's and jelq in between reps, don't stop and reheat everytime.
                Your EL shouldn't subside too much in 10 seconds, but if it does try to tighten the grip just a bit more (you need to be comfortable with it, and don't injure yourself), or use kegels (lighten the grip, kegel, and regrip).
                This being said, when someone clamps his erection will subside but the expansion remains. So you should be fine. For now keep doing them the way you are (no need to look at porn, if it subsides it's normal).
                Overtime you'll develop your own understanding of the exercise and of what intensity your body reacts positively to.
                Start low.
                Stay safe, take your time to increase the reps and duration. I know you will but I like to repeat the safety advice.

                  If your erection level suffers much between reps, your grip may be too tight, use a lighter grip next time and see how it will go.

                  Your grip should be just enough to restrict blood leaving your penis and lightly compress the chambers, do not squeeze too tight, at least not in the beginning.


                  Doing ULIs between jelqing reps is a good idea as Popol5169 advised above, you may also like to read Looking4more's journey.
