  • New routine question

Hi, been out of pe for a while and am thinking about restarting with a new jelq only routine. Would it be realistic to gain say 1/2 an inch length and say 1/4 girth by doing a good jelq routine with perseverance over say a year? i am not really keen on stretching but may incorporate it if i can get back into it.

    Thanks

Sounds reasonable to me provided your sessions last long enough, your grip is tight enough but not too tight, and you do them at least four days a week.

You may want to keep an accurate record of what you do and how you feel after you've done it.
There are many different ways to jelq.
I think you should add basic directional stretches holds (20 seconds, work your way up, add more reps etc..) . Easy to do and may help with length gains more than jelqing.

When i did it before sometimes i noticed a bit of a drop in eq at times which i attributed to the stretches more than anything maybe overdoing them a little which is why i thought about a jelq only routine for a while to see how i go and then add them in at some point. If i could gain a bit of length through jelquing alone aswell as girth id be happy with that but would rather gain both..

It sounds good to me. Slow and steady definitely is best. Short stretches can always be added in later. Jelq only can definitely work.
