    Hi guys

    I struggle to maintain 50%+ erection level while jelqing and often find I need to masturbate a few second after every 10-20 reps to get it back up to the required levels.

    Will that be detrimental to my gains?

    Not in my opinnion.

    I think it is quite normal to masturbate little bit to keep yourself with in that 50-75 erection % range.

    Do not turn it into masturbation session though.

    Your penis will get used to jelqing more and your EQ will imrpove which will make it easier for you to maintain those erection precentages.

      A lighter grip may also help.

      Do not stretch too hard, and even jelq first, it may help.

          No detriment unless you lose focus and turn it into a masturbation session. Keeping it at the correct tumescence is important. You will become better and better as time goes by. This is why we condition and learn.

              Personally even though i AM NEW to PE

              I think it will be detrimentical ... because u are losing the important nutrients ur SPERM OFFERS !
              for example CHOLESTERIN, LECITHING and so on all that are important for everything to function right and as u said u would masturbate after EVERy 10-20 REPS ?? thats alot of masturbation !

              BUT as long as you do NOT EJACULATE I THINK ITS OK

                Ok let's say "stimulate" instead of masturbate last night again I was struggling to keep desired % for more than 15 reps at most and had to spend 10 seconds getting myself up again. This is the problem when I try and cut out porn.
                I can definitely maintain if I take Kamagra but I'm not too keen on making that a habit.

                My worry is that all that blood I'm pushing in escapes when I stimulate myself and feels like I'm starting again.

                  I do believe it is detrimental for gains, but you just need to keep going, work on your EQ, add a few kegels when you can and jelq in a way not too much blood escapes the shaft between each grip. Have a look at this thread https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...n-updated.html

                    Oh yes I had read that last year when I started. Had forgotten about it. Thanks popol! I guess the main concern is just if stopping the jelqs for a bit during the jelq routine is bad. Perhaps I will try stimulating myself in an upward (jelq) motion only quite rapidly whenever levels drop.
                    That said, I am on a length gain phase so maybe the lower levels will have some benefits...

                      No doubt that having to stop is not ideal, but it is what it is. If in fact you masturbate frequently I suggest cutting back on that so that when you jelq you are as horny as possible.

                        I have the same issue but just keep going with your routine regardless of your erection level. Get it to required hardness to begin with and just get out those jelqs.

                        Over time, you will stay harder for longer as you continue to gain and fill the penis with blood. I do two sets of 50 jelqs and always find by the second set, I can remain harder for a longer time but I still go a bit flaccid.

                        On the other hand, quality is better than quantity. Try to do jelqs at the required erection level even if you end up doing far fewer than you planned. You can go either way with this. I'm still trying to stay harder for longer.
