I saw a little bit of improvement from stretching for 10 mins maximum, but i want to increase that duration spent stretching because i think i am at a plateau at the moment and haven't seen gains in a few weeks. I was thinking of increasing to maybe 20 minutes (?) or so. What do you guys think?

Theres no real saying on the matter. Everyone is different, some people can handle more than others. Try to find that even ground between enough intensity and not overtraining. I suggest you try out 20 minutes and see how it goes. If it feels great, keep on doing it. If not then try 15 minutes.

Most important tip that i can give is : Always keep your PI's (physical indicators)in check. Listen to your body.

I've increased my stretching sessions to 75 minutes, so yeah. I'm of the belief that duration is better (and safer) than intensity.
Start - 5.5 NBPEL, BPEL (wasn't measuring - probably around 6.5), 5.5 MEG.
Current - 7.5 BPEL, 5.75 MEG.
Started 3/2013.
All manual so far.
