Thread: More Challenging Routines?

I currently do a 3-day on 1-day off 120 4-5 second jelq routine. I'm wondering how long will it be till I need to upgrade my routine? I just recently started about 2 weeks ago. What would I upgrade to? More jelqs? When should I upgrade?

Here is my rule of thumb: Stick with any basic routine for at least 1 month before considering making a change (in the case of JP90, stick with it for 3 months). Measure at the end of each month. If you have gained, stick with the same routine. If you have not gained, consider tweaking the routine (more reps, more intensity, different exercises, etc.)
(Late 1999): 6" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG
(Early 2001): 7" BPEL x 5.75"MSEG (mostly Hanging/Jelqing)
Aug 16th 2015: 7.375" BPEL x 6" MSEG
