  • Do you guys consider edging bad?

    I googled this and found a couple of worrying threads of various forums, some thing it trains you to orgasm as soon as your hard? :S

    I absolutely love edging. LOVE IT. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Whew! I think that I am being clear! :-)

    I edge at the very end of my session, which I do two days on, one day off. I warm up, do stretches, do jelqing, do warm down and then edge. I - normally - do not cum after edging. Intentionally.

    Now, this week - as an experiment - I nutted at the end of just about every edging session....just to see. LOVED IT! Not gonna do it....as a regular practice....but loved it. Really really really intense and lasted longer (the actual orgasm) and my poor bathroom door is a complete mess, but that does not matter.

    I do not nut after edge because the refractory period is a part of post-orgasm | ejaculation and I do not want anything to get in the way of my PE work outs | gains. Were I to continue the "nut after edge" practice I am pretty sure that I would start to have negative PIs. I am pretty sure that my EQ would diminish substantially. That is why """I""" do not nut after an edge session. At least, not on purpose.

    There are others who will say that you should nut after every third or fourth edging session. I will let those folks speak for themselves.

    For me, and I do speak for myself!, it is not a good idea. That would not work out well for me. Everyone is different....I do what works best for me.

    To the "orgasm once hard" comment....never seen that | heard that. Now, to be clear - there are two different things going on.....orgasm and ejaculation. Men can, and do, orgasm multiple times before they ejaculate. So, I always ask for clarification about the term "orgasm". For me, it means one specific thing.....not two things!

      Today I jelq for 10 min then edge plateau for 15 min, then cum

      And I think my falccid is shorter today, I will defently try not to cum after next time I edge, will see how it goes..

        When I edged to orgasm | ejaculation I really did not have negative PIs. I came soooo freaking hard...like I said, my bathroom door was not happy to see me sit my happy ass on the toilette and carry on. LOL!

        But, for the most part....were I do do this every time....I would indeed see negative PIs. Everyone is different. Find out what works best for you. That is what matters....what works for you. We are all different.

          Basically what I want to know from the vets that have been edging for a long time, have you noticed increased PE?

            Edging is there to get more control over arousal and to get a maximum erection to fill the tissue that was enlarged prior in PE exercise.

            I couldnt imagine penis healths and size increase without edging.

            I workout to get expansion and then edge to use the created expansion right away to teach my dick to use the expansion.

            Cumming at the end of edging feels like a fail. But if you right after cumming start edging or exercising again it can be an advantage and next stage to even improve refractory period.

                      Prolonged release of dopamine naturally is not a bad thing. If you are using porn, or other things then yes it can have negative effects

                        It might be possible that very long high arousal edging is not that healthy as its simply very taxing. But if you do it right then the benefits outweigh any possible negatives.

                        Doing it right means getting control over your responses. That also might mean without porn. For me I enjoy some good porn and edging to it. I have no known problems cause of it. I can still control my arousal and most female body are enough to get me going no matter what twisted porn I looked prior.

                        Actually if I watch a very intense and arousing porn and Im still in control then thats a win for me.

                          @ Schwanz: I'm 100% in agreement with your post, except for the PORN part. While I realize some guys can balance PORN with sex & PE and maintain it as a sexual stimuli without having to become dependent on it, for MANY, seemingly an ever growing number of younger guys, it develops into an addiction leading to ED at a very young age. I've never had a PORN addiction, I watched it some, but always realized and rationalized it was staged and pure fiction from the standpoint of guy's sizes, and therefore just "entertainment".

                          Once I joined the Gym, I was shocked and quickly realized some guys suffer tremendously and needlessly with PIED & ED directly attributable to watching & masturbating to PORN from an early age. Made my mind up to not watch that "fake junk" anymore, as it was not only a tremendous waste of time, but would potentially poison my brain; therefore, even though I had no issues with it, I can't advocate ANY GUY using PORN for ANY REASON. Just my opinion, but I've taken a firm stand against it, because I can find no beneficial purpose for a guy to use it; the dangers greatly outweigh any "fabricated rationale" a guy could come up with for doing so. The numbers don't lie. PORN is BAD for GUYS.

                              As far as the addiction to porn. I think this mostly affects guys that have social issues and dont have healthy sexual relationships with women. The guys that are scared to have sex because they only have a 5.5x4.5" penis. Nothing wrong with porn just like nothing is wrong with alcohol. The problem is how you use it. Using porn to fantasize about women you'll never have fucking a dixk you'll never have is bad. Using porn as a visual aid when you only see your girlfriend on ths weekend is not a problem. Its not what you do, it's why. I have personally given up porn for the last month to see how I would do. Basically I just don't masturbate. Thats part of why I stopped. I want to be able to masturbate without external stimulus. I want to just use my mind. Im hoping this will make me more sensitive since I find it very difficult to cum sometimes. Its like my dicm is desensitized. It may be due to old age, 37 here, but may be due to porn over the last 10 years. But either way everyone is different. Just look at the reasons for doing it.
