I have been researching deconditioning breaks and thinking about it in general for the past few days.
There is a reason why it interests me!
Before PE - in my teen years back then, I was doing quasi-jelqing (very dangerously - fully erect and with strong grip... thankfully I didnt hurt myself seriously). I know that I was doing them occasionally - dont ask me why, I dont really know; I think I was just fascinated about my dick and how big I could "balloon" it up. Anyway, the point is, at one point, I heard a very weird noise, a pop sound coming from my dick. Nowadays I know that it was just a harmless ligament pop. At that time though, I freaked out like never before and pretty much quit the entire thing. I even completely stopped touching my dick for a period of time after which I came back to it since horniness levels were over 9k.. and did normal fapping like any other healthy normal teenage boy.
The thing is, my dick grew in girth. I have foggy memories of a situation where I was surprised. Chronologically speaking I dont really know when it happened but I guess it was right after the "decon" break (not touching the d.). I was like "hey, isnt it way thicker than before? hmm.."
My second experience is after PE. Almost a month into PE, I had a very little injury, a slight uncomfortable ache. I didnt wanna risk anything whatsoever, hey I only have 1 penis. So I took an entire week off.
And guess what happened?
I came back to it, did exactly 5 days of PE (thanks to my journal I know for sure ) and I saw a length gain of 0.3''
My journal says:
25/Sep: 17.5cm/6.9''
03-09/Oct: Break
14/Oct: 18.2cm/7.2''
This experience and the knowledge about decon breaks & PE now makes me wonder.
I think decon breaks are not properly researched and utilized by the PE community yet and are very undervalued. I think there is more to "decon" breaks than just deconditioning the penis. I think it can actively play a huge part in enhancing the penis (yeah we know basically that it allows for a new growth spurt after the decon phase, so newbie-gains can happen again, but thats not all imho!)
Now, lets come to the actual point. People take decon breaks generally when they hit a "pleatau". For some its after 3 months of PE, for others an entire year.
The decon break usually lasts at least a month up to two, max three.
My stance/point is: The more often we do decon breaks, the better we will gain.
So, I know there is no real basis to what Im spouting here. Its just a random train of thought.
But I will do an experiment with my routine to test it myself. If it wasnt for my experience in the past, I wouldnt bother at all but I think there is something to it. I think decon breaks might be key.
So.. I will do the following from now on:
1 month :=
3x weeks of PE
1x week of (baby-) decon break: no playing with the penis, at all!
Another motivation for me to test this is, my gains seem to have slowed down a bit. I am sitting at 18.7cm/7.36'' BPEL - thats the absolute longest I can get.
If I measure comfortably (very light pressing of ruler, no backward bending of body, ..), I get 18.5cm/7.26''.
I will report back with details. I will look at whether gains happened directly after the decon break and after the first week of the decon break.
