    So, gentlemen, new to the forum, yes, been lurking for months though, and never saw the need to ask about anything, but now it is the time.

    To start off, I've been doing the dry jelq/regular stretching routine for months now (more than 6), and saw an increase of about 1.5 cm or about so, but that was on the first month, and just because I'm stupid, lazy and scared I continued with the same routine, even though there was no benefit (idiotic, I know).

    However, last week I was like "Damn man, all this jelqing and whatnot and you really haven't seen much a change, why not change routines?". So after a bit more of research I decided to go with Big Al's free jelq routine (the squeeze and side-to-side stretches, although, to ease into it, I'm doing one each day), now, they are great exercises, and I can definitely feel the "workout", but there is something that hinders it greatly, and specially "the squeeze"... It is so damn hard to maintain the half (60 percent or so) erection during it!

    I am in a full quitting porn phase given it gave me sort of trouble when it came to the actual act with a couple females (I could get hard, but after cumming once, I could not bring it back up, but also because libido wasn't as high), so I can't watch porn to harden it up (which, I tried once, does make it hard), but having to keep a constant sexual thought during the whole exercise is rather hard as I am not masturbating, so it isn't nearly as effective as it could.

    So there is my problem people, besides the fact I'm trying to regain my naturally high libido by quitting porn (which trust me, I went far into whatever spectrum you can think of), it is hard to keep an appropriate level of erection to perform the squeeze properly without constant though, and I know this means I need to improve EQ overall, but in the last week or so I started doing kegels throughout the day (hopefully this helps), and masturbating less.

    So, does this improve as I get used to the exercise? Or with the kegels? Maybe after long enough of not seeing porn, they will pop back up like nothing, and the problem will be keeping them down?

    BPEL: 6.2 inches(I believe)
    EG: 5 inches (I am pretty sure)

    Are you using any stamina work in conjunction with the Jelq Free routine? A "full" workout would appear as follows:

    Warm up > Squeezes > Side to Side stretches > Kegels > Stop and Starts > Warm down

    Welcome to the Gym.

    I recommend you click on and read the Start button at top left of page Lots of good information on what the Gym is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

    Proper jelqing has helped a lot of guys improve EQ. Jelq with an erection level between 45% and 65% using a moderate grip, just enough to move blood up the shaft and to the glans. Grip your penis below the glans when stretching and do not pull too hard, just enough to feel tension on your shaft.

    Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone, aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones

    Don't forget to take good beginning measurements and photos so you have a solid base line to compare your future gains to

    Start with accurate measurements too. That 6.2 (I believe) and 5 (im pretty sure) can mean anything. Measure correctly and write it down.

    Big Al! I do the routine as it goes except for the "starts and ups" given I don't know what they are, but I'll do some research, although I'll start doing it all in one day after a couple weeks of this conditioning.
    Regarding the kegels, I do them throughout the day, every minute I remember (I do a good number), so I wouldn't put them there. Also, how important would you consider warm downs? And why?

    Not2big, yeah, all that is good, but as I said, I'm not doing jelqs anymore, however, thanks for the input!

    And, Jackxxx, you're right, I should measure"properly", but man, let me ask you, how did you get those gains? Like, Jesus buddy, that's 2 inches in length and more than a bloody inch on girth!

    The warm down maintains increased blood flow for accelerated post-training recovery and also keeps the tissues expanded longer- contributing potential for more growth to occur. The heat itself also have therapeutic benefits, and it's good for the skin of the penis.

    Concluding the warm down with a light application of cocoa cutter cream or other similar substance can help to keep the skin of the penis healthy and supple.

    Succinct and to the point, good, I'll check the stop/start now and see if I can implement them somewhere.

    Just out of mere curiosity, I know I will attempt to put everything into one day once Dickasio tells me he's ready, but following this at least 3 times a week (and I understand everyone is different), with the odd time taking a break because it feels like I must, how long should it take to see noticeable/measurable improvements? I don't say that just because I want my gains NOW (I do), but also because in the odd case it doesn't work, I don't wanna make the same mistake and keep the routine for months without substantial growth when I could be doing a more productive routine!

    As a general rule, if you've noticed no gains with a routine after four weeks, then something is amiss. You should at least be seeing EQ improvement and better flaccid "hangs" by two weeks.
