  • Beating pe without edging

    Hey guys I have a dilemma I'm sure plenty of you about the porn dilemma. I have an issue where masturbating with or without porn gives me serious anxiety don't know why but when I abstain it stops. Is there a way to get over pe without edging? I just don't want to be anxiety ridden. I'm aware many of you don't necessarily feel this way after masturbating or viewing porn however this is specefic for me and a few others any help at all would be much appreciated!

      Does your anxiety have anything to do with a religion or your personal religious beliefs. I know some religions, frown upon masturbation....

      At any rate, a dark room, a secure door (if getting caught is making you anxious), 20 minutes to 1 hour, lube, and a relaxed mindset will all provide proper tools for beating pre e.

            I'm aware too, I used to be religious then stopped I get your point. I did think I was sinning, then when I became agnostic I no longer thought it was bad. I stopped masturbating and porn for 3 months and felt awesome then met my ex and started edging again and then the anxiety came back

              Thanks big al, I have edged before and it works a ton even when I didn't think masturbating again would negatively effect me however my anxieties came back full throttle. This of course was before I realized it does this to me. I originally stopped masturbating because of porn induced Ed, I just happened to also notice I wasn't anxious anymore.

              I honestly wish I knew exactly but there's a definite correlation im much much happier when I'm not masturbating with porn or even when I'm not masturbating without. The theory is that the constant release of dopamine for people who have a problem with masturbating makes other interactions like social ones not as rewarding which turns into anxiety. And what fixes that anxiety? More masturbation and then begins the cycle

                If you are trying to get rid of Pre-e, then maybe it is the mind set that is out of balance. You feel guilt or anxiety because of edging, but you are not in reality doing it for yourself, you are combating Pre-e t help satisfy your current or future partner. So you are doing it for the betterment of others, not yourself. So the anxiety can be turned into a positive force for the pleasure of your partner. Slightly different mindset, but less guilt attached when you are doing it for someone else.

                Like any skill, it takes practice to master it. Conquering Pre-e requires training, both of the mind and body.

                  The anxiety is related to things outside of my partner though. Social interactions arête included as well. Trust me I was all for edging it was working too, it's just I was slowly becoming more and more anxious. Then I stopped just from being busy and hey anxiety is becoming a non factor. To clarify its masturbating in general that messes me up, porn really makes it worse though

                    Guys if what you're saying is that edging is the only way then I guess I'll just have to accept that. I just don't think at this time I can masturbate at all and not be overly anxious. I was just hoping maybe there was someway else oh well

                      Well, describe your anxiety to us. What do you go through, how does your body react. Help us to understand this. Relaxation techniques can be different from one person to another. May be worth a trip to the doctor to discuss. While nobody likes to be on medication, if an anti-depressant helps your anxiety then you will be better off long term. It also may be a bridge to help you get over the rough spot. I was on anti-depressants for a little over a year and a half before I felt I no longer needed the crutch.

                        Are you intending to do PE, or are you here to simply overcome pre-E? Think of PE training & pre-E training as healthy exercise, not masturbation. It's really no different than eating a healthy diet & exercising at the gym, doing cardio, etc. No different at all, in fact. PE will improve the health of your penis, enabling you to perform with better EQ, satisfy your partner and yourself with healthy sex, better vascularity, more stamina and overall confidence as a male. THAT manifests itself in ALL aspects of your life! It's not sinful, it's HEALTHY! Change your mindset, and change your LIFE!

                          Get over your religion induced anxiety it might take some effort but it will be worth it.

                            You misunderstand friend jelquing itself is perfectly fine for me I have no issue with that. I'm talking about actual edging where you finish. Again to clarify even before I started linking anxiety to masturbation i was just an anxious person figured it was just who I was. Then I read up on porn induced Ed which I believed at the time I had, stopped doing that and also realized that my anxiety was gone. But didn't put two and two together, then when I met my ex I began edgjng finishing more often then not at the end. And anxiety came back, through reading about anxiety I stumbled on what I'm talking about and things clicked. Again, I understand if you don't agree I love jelquing but just can't seem to edge again it's when I cum that messes me up. Ballooning is fine but I guess I have a dopamine addiction which is horrible
