We are older so we enjoy the spoon position (rear entry while laying on our sides) when initiating intercourse. I love the oyster, but since it isn't up there I chose lotus, since oyster is basically a laying down lotus (or lotus/missionary hybrid). I find you can thrust deeper than in regular missionary, but it maintains the same level of intimacy. The position also allows you to switch it up by putting her legs above your head, so you can aim closer to the roof of the vagina too (better for g-spot contact). Also, the versatility of this position allows you to quickly change who has control, by sliding a hand under the ass and using your arm to roll around. This puts the girl instantly on top, and you can either maintain control by banging from the bottom or let her ride you and assume control.

The oyster can segway into almost every face-to-face sexual position without ever leaving the vagina or even stopping motion for longer than 2 seconds.

EDIT: Worth noting, when we do this position, we have 1 or 2 pillows under her butt, allowing a bit of a lift to penetrate deeper, and push our pelvises closer.
