Guys, will you circumcise your sons?

I thought it'd be interesting to do a new poll of guys here who will either be having sons soon or plan to sometime in the future. Most guys here on the forum are pretty educated with all things dick, and with that comes a great knowledge of all things foreskin. On the site, we've got guys who are spending a lot of time not only improve their penis health and working to build better units, but also restoring their foreskins.

What will you do if you have sons?

This is a non-negotiable for me. If I have a son he will not be circumcised. I'm currently restoring.

I was circumcised as an infant. When my son was born 24 years ago, we had him circumcised too. We (wife and I) made this decision out of ignorance because I didn't want him to think he was weird or abnormal when he saw mine. Since starting PE I've learned a few things concerning circumcisionn; I now regret ever making that decision; it should have been his.

I had my two sons circumsized after birth over 30 years ago. It was the local custom at the time. I would have made a different decision today.

I find this topic very interesting. I'm 42 years old and I was circumcised as an infant and I never thought twice about it. Now part of me wonders what sex would be like WITH that extra skin?? I've seen my fair share of porn and I've noticed more and more guys are uncircumcised. Interesting.......

Really appreciate your guys' feedback here. I know this is a sensitive issue for a lot of people, especially for those who were circumcised or have had their children circumcised. Statistically, it's just incredibly interesting to see the decrease in circumcision rates over the years here in the States. If you were born in the sixties, you were almost certainly circumcised (over 90%). But today the rates are comparatively so much lower (32% in 2009). Most of us here at the gym are pretty pro-foreskin, but it'll be interesting to see if the practice just fades out completely at some point.

Right along with what MBD and angus said, I think when most guys join places like PEGym or Thunder's we learn a lot about these kinds of things we'd never thought of before.

Never gave it much thought, what's the pro vs cons for keeping the foreskin? Honestly I like being cut, but the choice for me will never happen as I'm good with the two girls I have. I truely love being spoiled by my girls.

I am a Jew, by choice, but I was circumcised in 1939, so that was the norm back then.
I am attracted to Orthodox Jewry, (not unusual for conversions to any faith, orthodoxy
that is), but part of the conversion practice is a small "pseudo" circumcision.

When the moile came to our house to circumcise my grandson, he threw
his foreskin into our front yard. My grandson is now 9 years old. I dare
not tell him this story--knowing my grandson. He'd be out there looking
for his foreskin!!

I was lucky, in a way, because the good doctor, back in '39, left me
a whole bunch of foreskin with the frenulum intact, etc. I think some
call this the "German cut." Some people botch the job and do real
damage disfiguring a poor infant's penis.

Soooo, after about four to five years of p.e., and especially after
extreme pumping, (Who knew?), my foreskin completely covers
my glans--and I have a large glans. My totally turtled cock looks
like the perfect anteater.

Here's the problem. I spent my whole pre-p.e. life not worrying about "skinning"
back my foreskin to take a leak. Now here I am in my 70's, with a
man my age's prostatic condition, getting up to pee during the night--
half asleep. Need I say more?

My good friend, Calixto, of the Gym, has been working his ass off for years trying to
restore his foreskin. Where is the justice in all this??

So long as you teach your sons proper hygiene, why have them circumcised?

I DO think there are very few males, given the choice, who would opt to have their
foreskin, wholly, or in part, removed.

I appreciate the fact that circumcision probably leads to a loss of sensation, regardless of what any circumcised person says, less nerves = less sensation. There is the physical aspect of it, which I wouldn't like to inflict on my son.

But my son won't be circumcised primarily for ethical reasons, I will not mutilate him without his consent. Anyway, I don't have this problem as I live in Europe and it just isn't done here, I don't actually know anyone who's circumcised!
