  • Sex therapist?

    Anyone ever been to see a sex therapist to cure PE.

    Went to see the GP yesterday because everything I am doing just ain't working.

    Monday was the final straw, edged for 30 minutes without porn and ejaculated, then an hour later I had sex with the wife and lasted 20 seconds!!!!!!

    Tried the following with no success

    -second round sex makes no difference.
    -delay sprays don't work
    -condoms don't work
    - antidepressants for 7 months,was lucky to last 30 seconds
    -even alcohol does not delay ejaculation much.
    -women on top makes no difference

    Have not always had PE and acquired it out of nowhere 3 years ago and been stuck with it ever since.

    Have really been attacking the edging recently with stretches and Hindi squats. To be fair I struggle with the squats because I am not very flexable down there And feel tights with the stretches.

    I go into sex confident but as soon as I started thrusting I feel the tingling in the penis before you reach PONR and its over. So disappointing.

    Hey!! Welcome,, first things first go click on the start here tab, Left hand corner. Second, go look into more edging, and reverse kegals. Pegasus has some great threads on this stuff along with some other great guys and how theyve learned to last longer. Good luck!

          Hi jay48, I have suffered a swollen spinal disc as it happens.

          Thanks for the reply big al, yes I have tried but its so stop start and literally have the urge to ejaculate as soon as I re enter.

            Performing some of the mental exercises associated with the Stop and Start may be helpful.

            You should first make sure you approach your training/sexual activity with at least a neutral mindset. If you're anxious or frustrated this will work against you.

            When you begin, clear your mind. Sometimes picturing a field of white can be useful. At the same time. attempt to emote a feeling of confidence and being unencumbered.

            If your mind starts to drift then take a deep breath and re-center yourself.

            This is something which may take some getting used to, but once you turn the corner on this procedure you'll realize the great benefits to be had

            Having a trusted sexual partner to help with this is also important.

              Squit, did your premature ejaculation start happening right after your spinal disc injury? If so, it may be your injury that's causing it. Various types of spinal injuries can cause ejaculatory problems, according to quite a few studies I've read. Depending on the injury, it can be either premature or delayed ejaculation. Think back to when you had your injury. Try to remember if the premature ejaculation coincided with it.

                Relaxation of the pelvic floor is important. You need to be able to relax it in order to overcome the Involuntary Kegels. Work on your flexjbility. This stretching can help your back injury also.

                  read up on involuntary kegels and eliminate them, they should occur at one time, the first one should only be happening after you are fully ready to ejaculate the first "wave" if they occur earlier than that, you are too tense, they only exist to make you squirt the seamen, not bring you to ponr, however they are available for you to use "doing a voluntary kegel" to force you to ejaculation, this is because a long time ago we needed to have that option to ejaculate into the female very Quick if we we´re under danger, attack whatever, but it should not be involuntary, you should be in Control of it.


                  Hindi squats, rks, when 100% rid of the tension read the thread "edging for premature ejaculation"

                    For PE i agree a sex therapist is a waste of money. They just say, do you definitely fancy your partner? Do the stop/start technique etc. Try numbing gel!

                      This thing is I would not say I suffer from IKs so do not really consider myself to have a tight pelvic, tho I will continue with the Hindi squats and start RKS.

                      Caught in a cycle of avoiding sex sue to my PE which is a bad cycle to be in. Just frustrating that I can edge for 40 minutes but not last more that 15seconds in sex.

                      Was a sex therapist so bad paul789??

                            Yes the therapists/doctors and physios were all terrible. none of them addressed the real issue of muscle tension and pelvic floor. Even when your muscles have stopped going into spasm or having ik's they can still be very tense. You need to keep going with the streching. I stretch for 45 mins usually twice a day. Strething the pelvic floor, back, hamstrings and stretches for my posture. In my car i also sit in a tennis ball.
                            An 'expert' could be good for you but for me i have lost all faith in the medical/therapist profession!

                              Dr john I leave porn well alone now mate, used to be a user in the past tho quote heavy. Would not say I was addicted tho.
