    Had an interesting edging session. Was able to plateau at a pretty high level of arousal (above 9) by holding a light reverse kegel. However, my erection quality was compromised, the reverse kegel made me softer as well. Anyone experience similar?

    Yeah, I’ve definitely had that happen a lot. And, from what I’ve read on the forum, it’s pretty common. Reverse kegels are good in that they loosen the pelvic floor, but they are also the action that makes an erection go away. When you make urine come out by RK’ing, that also lowers an erection.

    At the beginning of my training, RK’ing and breathing were my go to techniques to stay away from the PONR. In certain positions (like girl on top), my erection quality was less than 100%, but I could go longer. So, it was a balance, but was worth it to not cum in 30 seconds.

    Now, I’m trying to do what TheZZMan discribes as keeping the pelvic floor neutral. I do less RK’s and instead let my pelvic floor stay flat (not tighten but also not actively expanded by a RK). It feels more like an advanced technique that I would not have been able to use at the beginning, but now I have more control.

    Yeah I saw that post by ZZMan, and I think it helped me actually get the right level of RK to hold during edging.

    I had another fun edging session and could keep my arousal level pretty steady around 7, with good EQ this time. Feeling very encouraged by this progress

    Previously I was doing 20 kegel quick squeezes and a few long squeezes daily.

    But I stopped that and just started minuteman's routine here (https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...asm-guide.html). I'm doing 0.1 routine every other day, and also doing Hindi squats every day for 3 minutes at a time.

    I also edge for about 20 minutes everyday. The past 2 times have been with porn, and I've been able to plateau my arousal levels using a light RK. I know porn isn't recommended around here, but it makes it more pleasurable, and if I can control my arousal using the RK, I think it should okay?

    Was with a woman tonight. Unfortunately my progress discovered while edging didn't carry over to actual sex. Just a bit of playing with my dick and I felt myself shooting close to PONR. I had to stop her from touching my dick and then I ate her out and fingered her till she came. Then I put on a condom and stuck it in, did the light RK that worked so well in edging. It seemed to help somewhat, but I was already very close to PONR on entry and came within 15 seconds or so.

    Are you working on relaxation breathing?

    Maybe if your arousal is spiking up too quickly you should consider cutting out all porn for the next couple months to see if you can retrain your brain to slow down.

    My arousal level spiked up really quickly at the beginning too. I think a lot of work edging, without porn, at a very slow speed, with relaxed breathing and a calm mind, and a loose pelvic floor is what helped me.

    I try to breathe slowly as holding the RK is linked to my breath. It's true I do feel arousal rise more quickly when I watch porn, I'll try edging without again.

    Don't underestimate WGB's advice about arousal. Check out his success story and believe that his ability to control arousal and his response to it was a major factor. Arousal response might play a much larger role in Pre-E than a lot of guys think it does. Good luck to you!

    Still on minutemans routine of kegel and rk for mmo.

    Recently went for a happy ending massage. The lady massaged my pf and inner thighs for me giving me a hand job. I was able to last a fair amount of time, made longer by holding a rk.

    Read another thread here where people talked about edging with a tight grip and fast speed. I think I shall start doing that when edging. Hopefully training myself to withstand the extra friction will help with stamina.
