To the OP, thanks for sharing. It is great to see that you acknowledged your problem, researched possible solutions, chose the appropriate one and stuck through with it to achieve desired results. This is commendable! Most people when faced with the same challenges always run for the easy way out only to their detriment.
It is great also that you quit porn. I did so eons ago and I can't say how happier I am - it is unbelievable how much harm we voluntarily subject our bodies to! If you ever need a support group to stay on course, check: https://www.pegym.com/forums/progres...anti-porn.html
On your recovery, stick the course. Things take time, be patient.

Back from another PT appointment
It's just the 3rd visit to the PT and too soon to tell, but I can see that she puts pe on stretching and breathing exercises to relax the pelvic area with many exercises and variatons.
Today she even had me in Child's Pose and told me to hold it for like 15-30 seconds to feel a stretch down there and I was like ,, Lady, I can sit in this yoga pose for like an hour and you give me 15 seconds ?''.
Jokes aside I like her.
Question: she told me how we are going to continue during my appointments and talked of stretching (I agree), diaphragmatic breathing (also agree) and toning of lower abodminal muscles (wait, what ?).
She wants to also introduce muscle toning exercises (only like 30% of the recovery plan) that I know usually tenses muscles. I have recently managed to loosen up the pelvic floor and I'm afraid to get them tense up again due to toning exercises.
What do you think I should do ? Listen to her ? Tell her I only want to stick to stretch, belly breath routine ?Last edited by Cephalus; 01-18-2018 at 10:28 AM. Reason: bad spellling

Tough call. Any sense that there a desire to maintain her income stream ?

Wow. Didn't even think about that posibility, Dangler.
She works with many pacients at her location (in a very big apartment) and it didn't even cross my mind that she would lie to me and intentionally slow down my recovery in order to extend my appointments so that she could get more money out of me. Yet again, she's still a stranger to me and I to her.
But, after much thinking, I think you're right. She could milk a bit more money from slowing me down, from another pacient and then another pacient and there you have it: a neat extra income from purposefully slowing down pacients recovery when they could be recovered far sooner. Damn.
I'm a fool: I even paid up front (a membership) for 10 appointments so that I could get a reasonable discount.
Thank you, Dangler.
Nevertheless, before bringing any changes to my appointments with her, do you think her reasoning for introducing toning in my condition is correct ? She argued that tense muscles should also have tone so that they could have even greater resting tone while not actively using them. I'm no muscle expert, but this goes against the pre-e principle onsite: loosen before strengthening.
