I noticed tonight while edging into my fleshlight that if I squeeze the muscles around my tailbone really hard while approaching the PONR, it seems to bring arousal levels down and allows me to continue thrusting without going over the edge. It's hard to describe exactly, but it's basically contracting the glutes inward very forcefully as if you were trying to compress your tailbone, while at the same time "sucking" your anus upward as if you were trying to draw energy up your spine. (I found that maintaining a slight posterior pelvic tilt makes the motion more powerful.) If you do it right you should be able to keep your BC muscle relaxed so that all of the squeezing is happening right behind your anus and your dick does not get pulled inward.
This is interesting because as I mentioned in another thread, I had found previously that doing glute medius exercises prior to edging (which also involve squeezing inward toward the tailbone) also resulted in a noticeable increase in control.
So, after using this technique during my edging session and seeing the effects, I went and googled "tailbone ejaculation" just to see if anything would come up, and found another forum thread where a guy mentions this exact same technique. He uses it during sex to bring arousal down, and said that doing it regularly every day outside of sex for sets of 300 squeezes was effective. And I know Dr. Lin is generally regarded as a quack around here, but the search also brought up one of his videos where he recommends a similar technique.
It would be interesting to have some other members try this out and report back. Try doing a bunch of these squeezes prior to edging and see if there's any difference, and during the session as well to see if it delays the PONR. I maybe am going to try this out in future sessions.
I can give you some theory on why i think it works for you.
First, if you squeeze a muscle firm you draw blood into it. Maybe you are getting really good in isolating your muscle and maintain to relax your PV hence drawing blood from this area into your lower-back/glute medius.
Second, there is something called muscle-mind connection. Short explained, the better muscle-mind connection, the better you are in visualizing the muscle. For example if you have a good muscle-mind connection towards your pecs, you are able to twitch them without contracting other parts. But all this requires mental focus that draws your brain away from other muscles. For example it is very hard to give your mind both focus on your legs and your pecs at the same time. As a sequel your mental arousing could go down because you focus hard on other muscles. if you want to recreate to understand it, when edging focus on your neck, visualize it and squeeze it while still breathing normally.
Third, maybe your enhancing your reverse-kegel and relax your PV with this by pulling some fascias or muscles.

A few weeks back I discovered that I completely neglected this "back kegel". When I was researching, I found a thread in a nofap forum about pre e where OP mentions that one of the most common mistakes is that people train the wrong pelvic floor muscle - the right one, according to him, would be this "tailbone" one.

"PC muscle is attached to your tail bone. It is located behind your anus. Almost at your lover back. It goes down deep under your pubic bone at the front part of your body too. For exercises of it however we should focus on back. When you flex it it can stop ejaculation but it can not speed up orgasm. It also usually does not contracts (for most people) during orgasm. What I need clarification on is whether I push this muscle out or whether it needs to be strengthened by tensing it?
Also will lower back exercises help or hamper, this also seems like something fixing APT will naturally contribute to as there is a more direct downward pressure from back muscles when the hips are aligned

During an edging session last night I was able to remove the spasms with these "tailbone squeezes"... definitely keep on experimenting with them!

I was actually reading the same exact thread Soon2bhuge. It's why I came back to this website again. I've actually did an edging session yesterday where I kind of tried the tailbone squeeze, but I also arched my lower back a bit. I'm not sure if I just hit my plateau a bit before but my god I was so relaxed and could last longer. When I get the chance to edge again I'll test it and see if it was just a coincedence

I think they're much easier to perform with an arched back, just in the same way that RKs are easier to perform the opposite way. But yeah, probably not good to arch back too often, as we know.
