Everyone knows that the head of the penis is the most sensitive part, but how much it affects our ejaculation? When we are about to ejaculate, almost anything we do to our head can trigger ejaculation. Even squeezing the head can make us ejaculate, and when it is inside a woman it is squeezed a lot. I mean, everyday there are a lot of factors discussed at this forum that can contribute to premature ejaculation: APT, pelvic floor imbalance, hormones, histamine, vitamins, mental aspects, etc. Probably every one of those factors have an effect, but why when we use a numbing spray in the head of the penis we can last considerably longer even when all those factors remains the same? If we can make it less sensitive, will it help? I think that maybe if we do our edging focusing only on the head and stimulating it in several ways (for example twisting the hand on it like when we are shining an apple) it will be less sensitive and help us last longer.

Your right. But I think you got the wrong head. The one on our shoulders is the issue.

I think that yes, de-numbing your penis will stop the premature ejaculations, BUT it is definitely not the way to go about handling this problem.
According to several posts on here once you gain full control of your pelvic floor you can completely control when you want to orgasm or not, so in this case you would stop the premature ejaculations without removing any pleasure from having sex, this obviously takes a lot time, knowledge and dediciation to go through with and that is why so many people (including myself) also go on the route of de-sensitizing on the side, but for example I don't deathgrip (edge with super hard grip to reduce feel in the penis) with the hardest grip I could squeeze out, instead I simply put firm pressure on it, so that my stick don't end up in a coma.
It is like, if ur dick has no feel in it, you obviously won't get any invountary kegels triggered, because you can't even tell the difference of when someone touches ur dick or not (extreme case ofc), but also if your pelvic floor is 100% under control, no amount of sensitivity will be able to trigger a kegel unless you allow it
Also people talk about "Getting used to it" rather than actually desensitizing it, but I don't really agree since the action of "getting used to something" means repetition and that always means atleast slighty losing your feel.

Hmmm, I wonder if those who learn to control their pelvic floor can do it without thinking about it during sex. If they do, that is definitely awesome. If they don't then I would prefer to sacrifice a little bit of sensations if that allows me to have sex without thinking about it and just enjoy sex.

Do I think the sensitivity of my glans and frenulum are the same before and after PreE training? That’s a tough question to answer. Even after beating PreE, I can still wake up with morning wood, touch the head of my penis, and cause an involuntary kegel. Before PreE training, I could ejaculate just by touching the head of my penis in that situation. I think the loose pelvic floor keeps me from having such intense IKs.
Does sex feel as good now as it did before? I think it feels way way better now. A plateau even at a 6 for 10 minutes is a thousand times better than ejaculating in 30 seconds. Also, the orgasms feel more intense once I have them now because there is a lot of build up.
I do feel like there is a bit of a loss of sensitivity, but it’s not anywhere near what I’d call a numbness. It’s like the edge has been sanded off a little bit.
