    This is something that has bothering me pretty bad. I discussed this in my log but I didn’t get much of a response. My pelvic floor is engaged in any movement. I have to release it after doing anything, from taking two steps to moving positions in my bed. Why and should it be engaged at all times the only times it’s relaxed is when resting, but in any position I can rk, from standing, sitting and laying down. I feel like this is causes my tension. My apt is mostly fixed but it’s still not perfect and I’m thinking that could affect it but I don’t know

    I tried to play around with this issue a bit because I was struggling to be able to keep my pelvic floor loose during missionary position, even after I started to have success with girl on top.

    If you’ve worked on your APT, then I’m guessing you’ve done the hip bridge raises when your laying on your back? I found that if I went up into the hip bridge, my pelvic floor would tighten and I couldn’t RK. But, if I rotated my hips to flatten my lower back and then kept that position as I raised up to the hip bridge position - I could still RK. So, my pelvic floor was loose even though a bunch of the surrounding muscles needed to hold myself up were engaged.

    That may not be the same as what gets tightened while you walk around, but it was the first time I learned to keep my pelvic floor loose while tightening other muscles.

    I also get tight as I move around and when my legs are in certain positions. Sometimes I have to do a quick happy baby pose or Hindi squat to reset. Sometimes I have to rotate my hips to reset.

    Are you doing daily pelvic floor stretches? It took me about 6-8 weeks of stretching to feel a loose pelvic floor most of the day. It still tightens up for me if I’m working out a lot, running, and not stretching daily.

    When I had PreE, doggy style was about the same as missionary. I’d ejaculate in one or two thrusts. Now, it’s not a problem. A loose pelvic floor from stretching, practice with RKs, and again the hip rotation to allow the RKs to be effective. The hip rotation allows me to thrust my hips without tightening my pelvic floor muscles.

    Yes I am 10 min of Hindi squats a day plus a minute or two of happy baby and 5 minute tennis ball massage. Been on this routine for about 6 weeks I think. Also a apt routine with general lower body stretching routine. All this and when I do anything with my girl my pf is still pretty tense.

    It sounds like you're doing a number of the right things. What do you think about adding some of the other yoga and core type stretches (cobra, reverse hurdler, pigeon, lunges, etc)? Are you doing any relaxation breathing? How are the effectiveness of your RKs? Do they help lower your arousal? Are you edging? Are you ballooning?

    Sorry if you've already written about those things in other posts.

    I actually do all those stretches on almost a daily basis, miss one here or there but for the past couple days I’ve been slacking off because I’ve seen nothing good happening
