She said it would only do damage in the long run and wouldn't help my issue at all.
Clearly this forum thinks otherwise...
Any of you guys ever resolve your problem from a therapist?

Find this hard to believe, how old is she? Maybe it's some old school textbook advice that's outdated by now? I mean I guess in the long run if you never practice normal kegels your pelvic floor probably becomes too loose and you'll start losing pee and stuff when you're old?

Interesting that she is a "she" telling guys about a tight pelvic floor. I know she has never experienced involuntary kegels, which come from a tight pelvic floor. Wonder what science she is coming from if she didn't qualify her answer other than to say to not do them.

Why? Without knowing her reasoning there is no base to discuss this. What did she say, why?

I've experienced many health professionals try using outdated information as the holy grail. Ask her more questions test her knowledge and figure out her reasoning. Most people on this forum that do RKs speak about the wonders it did for them. What do they gain from lying?

The highly paid hormone specialist I paid a fortune to see was amazingly clueless . Not only did he not know what level of total testosterone was likely to cause issues ,natural hormone improvement seemed like he was mystified by the concept
