Thread: Tennis ball massage questions

Can anyone help me with their routines and if they have had success with tennis ball massages?
I’ve just started doing these on hard surfaces and it is intense. My butt bone feels like it has an “edge” on each side and it hurts a bit. Any help or comments on how these have made you feel?

I sat on a tennis ball in my car while driving and in my work chair. I put the ball in different spots and put my weight on it. The chairs had some give, so the ball would sink in a bit.
It felt intense. Sometimes my pelvic floor would be sore the next day. Every once in a while I’d take a day off because of the soreness. Fairly quickly, maybe after one week, I could feel a major improvement with my reverse kegels.
After a couple months, I switched to a Lacrosse ball, which is harder. And, sometimes I sit on a foam roller (rotated so the axis points in the direction from front to back).
I felt more progress from the ball/foam roller stretching than any of the other standard stretches.
So I have done pe on and off...
Starting a bit late
