Wish I had better news but that plateau is elusive. Can kind of feel like I can get to it but it passes by quickly. Once it passes by, I cant drop my arousal well enough that a few strokes wont bring back the arousal.
Maybe I'm confused though on edging progression.My PE Thread

Recovery has been rough but mine maybe just that bad I guess.
But tonight i really was able to home in a little better on this plateau phase.
I thought holding a 5 or 6 was it and to an extent I still think it is but isn't the right kind of plateau that will help progression.
Tonight I edged fluctuating from 5-7-5 for about 20mins when It finally got out of that and started to go up to ponr. It got up to 9.5 and it was ready to go over but I stopped / went at a crawling speed. It was hovering at 9.5 to 9.8 and would stop for 3 seconds and slowly move a half stroke and it would go from 9-9.8 in the half stroke then stop for 2 to 3 seconds then another stroke slowly till it was manageable. It calmed down to a 9 and was able to get a full 3 second stroke and then it settled in at about 7.5 8ish where I was able to stroke freely feeling amazing for about 2minutes then it climbed back to the 9.5. Did the same slow and control measures and was able to get back in the plateau feeling amazing again.
If I can get into this plateau every edging, maybe I can start and train myself to a. Last longer in the plataue and b. Get into the plataue before I spike to 9.5 not after.
Any input on the 2 different plateaus I'm experiencing? Graphs show only 1 kind but I feel 2 kinds. Maybe it's the same kind just experiencing it at different arousal levels.My PE Thread

Yeah once you can plateau at a lower level of arousal for a while, it's good to progress your edging by adding stimulation like porn or faster strokes. Then try to plateau at higher levels. Plateau at higher level will be harder to maintain so you can cut stimulation to do this, which you already seem to be doing. You can play around with the kind of stimulation you remove as well. You can go from fleshlight to hand or stop thinking erotic thoughts, if that's what you use when edging.

That is the thing, I normally sit at about 5-7 for a good while while masturbating. The sensation goes up and down but not straight up like in real sex. I normally stroke pretty fast and with a hard grip but arousal stays pretty consistent during the first 15-20mins (I wish same was for real sex lol) But then without changing anything at about the 20min mark, of which I edged for about 50mins yesterday, arousal went from the 7 mark to 8 9 in maybe 10-15 strokes till i had to completely stop, holding the arousal at its highest point right before PONR and with no IKs.
The plateaus iv been reading about is said to feel like a ton of sensation but controllable. The first 20mins is kind of a plateau but it fluctuates from 5 (hard but not very much sensation) to 7 (a decent amount of sensation) after i spiked to 9.5 and brought it down and regained control, I settled in a higher plateau for a little bit at about 7.5 -8 ish. This is the plateau area i think is the target area to get into through build up not calming down. Every stroke felt great in this plateau and arousal didn't go right back up to PONR for a couple minutes. I was using imagination and lube with hand so maybe my imagination triggered in my brain to orgasm time which is why the spike came.
Going to practice trying to get into the higher plateau from the build up. Noticing when the spike is happening and slowing down is probably the key. 2 and 2 sounds like if I can catch the spiking and slow down, i can retrain the brain to not spike arousal but instead retrain a gradual progression.
Kind of afraid to use audio/porn again as iv already destroyed my brain through kegeling to porn for the last 15years trying to reset and reprogram.

Well i'm staying hard the whole time, its just the fluctuation of arousal. I know when it fluctuates in erection because i got side tracked and the head becomes smaller.

Been a few days since I updated and I like to stay current so when i'm cured I can look back and really see the progress, up and down. After I had started to see progress in my time, I had increased the intensity of my routine.
Working the RKs much harder now and consistently throughout the day. Walking/Sitting doesn't matter. Every time I remember, I push some good strong RKs with deep belly breathing. Building that deep breathing / RK connection.
Iv also been working on the whole self awareness idea and trying to be less tense. After watching a youtube video someone suggested here, I have been practicing releasing tension throughout the body. Always catch my shoulders tensed and other parts of my body.
Iv also have been really trying to home in on the large burst of pleasure before PONR where the spike normally happens. I could edge for 15mins from 5-7 but then it would rush to 8 9 after that 15min mark or close to it. Once I start to notice the spike about to hit I dramatically reduce the speed which slightly slows down the spike then when it hits 9.5 i stop and as it calms down to 9 i stroke veeeery slowly and it jumps back to 9.5 and hover this area for a bit. Keep doing that until arousal slides slowly back down to 8.5 and then try and stroke consistently again but slowly.
This give incredible sensation and I think this is the plateau ammanite had mentioned in his plateau edging thread. I'm working it this way in hopes to smooth out the spike and retrain my body that it isn't a rush to the finish. The first 15mins or so my body figured it out but it still has a strong connection with snowballing pleasure into orgasm.
In real sex that 15mins turns into 2mins or so before the snowballing spike to PONR. Going to practice this more intensive edging for a bit and see if i see any progress on smoothing out that rush to PONR. Will be updating as soon as my gf is in the mood again.
