Hi guys, a little confused about the relationship between all these muscles. I know theyre inter-related but would be great if someone could shed some light.
I've been struggling with a tight pelvic region in general - hips, hip flexors, BC, PC, IKs, and I also notice that I often have my anus clenched (esp when stressed).
So anal clenching: is this the PC muscle or a separate anus sphincter or are they the same thing? Any tips on how to release this? And yes, i've tried to consciously relax it (when I can catch myself), but I really notice i'm unconsciously doing it throughout the day.
I'm pretty sure this has something to do with my terrible IKs, cuz I've been doing hindi squats for over a month now and barely any progress.
