  • My Log: A Long Road Ahead

    So I've been working at this for about 2 weeks but I wanted to start a log so I can (hopefully) look back and see my progress. One thing I am good at is forgetting how far I have come and getting demoralized, so I'm hoping this helps with that.

    My current routine is as follows:

    Kegel Exercises

    Every day, do the following:

    • 200 x Alternating reverse kegel and kegel pulses (100 each)
    • 20 x Alternating kegel and reverse kegel holds (1 second to 10 seconds)
    • 40 x Alternating reverse kegel and kegel pulses (20 each)
    • 20 x Alternating kegel and reverse kegel holds (6 second to 15 seconds)
    • 40 x Alternating reverse kegel and kegel pulses (20 each)
    • 20 x Alternating kegel and reverse kegel holds (16 seconds to 25 seconds)


    Stretches

    Hold all of the following for 30 seconds:

    • Happy Baby Pose
    • Hindu Squat
    • Pigeon Pose
    • Cat & Cow
    • Downward Dog
    • Cobra
    • Runners Lunge
    • Child's Pose


    Edging

    I am attempting to edge daily for 20 minutes, finishing every third day or so. To begin with I was using my hands and was successful to reach 20 minutes, but had to stop several times when I reached the PONR. However, I generally felt in control and was able to begin again. It was never a huge struggle to get to 20 minutes since I could control the speed and grip.

    I recently upgraded to the STU Fleshlight, have only used it twice, and I can't even do one full stroke without immediately reaching the PONR. I've tried edging but when you can't even last one stroke before reaching the PONR it's almost impossible. I'm hoping with time I can gradually last longer, but for now it seems a fruitless exercise as I end up climaxing well before 20 minutes, despite my best efforts to go VERY slow. I can't seem to be able to reach the PONR, relax and begin again. Once I reach the PONR with the Fleshlight, when I start again I am always HIGH on the arousal level. I am oddly very anxious using the FL, which I think is the main issue.

    Penis Stretching

    I read a thread from a person who was sold on the idea that penis stretching cured his Pre-E so I have also begun that. Anytime I go to the bathroom/shower I stretch my penis in every direction for around 10 seconds per direction.

    That is my overall program for now, I may adapt it as I learn more.

    Thoughts on My Issues

    Right now I feel like my problem is more of a mental and sensitivity one. I can last a reasonable amount of time with hand masturbation and even BJ's don't make me go THAT fast, but as soon as I enter the cave, so to speak, it's immediately game over. I think this has come from terrible masturbation habits where I would often climax the moment sex begins after foreplay. It's as if I've mentally told myself foreplay is fine but when the real deal begins it's time to finish.

    Also, my penis is SO sensitive as I still have my foreskin and I have always masturbated very gently & above the foreskin. When I use the FL the sensation is totally mind blowing, it's something I've basically never experienced and it's complete sensory overload.

    As for kegels, I feel like I don't IK very often at all. I'm pretty good at holding an RK throughout edging and don't notice any IK's until I reach the PONR. At this point I am not sure what to do to prevent climaxing, if that is even possible.

    In terms of my pelvic floor, I am inexperienced in knowing whether this is relaxed or tight. I am not sure how to tell so any tips would be great.

    I am generally a healthy person, I actually am doing A LOT of exercise currently, I go to CrossFit 4-5 times a week and cycle to work and back 3 times a week. I also hike and walk a lot. This is relatively new to my life though.

    That's about it, I will update this post if things change and I will aim to post an update frequently.

    Good luck. I didn't realize how tight my PF was till I started loosening it. I noticed it by doing the tennis ball massages

      I've read about this. How often do you do it and for how long? Do you have to be sitting on a hard surface for it to work or can you do it on your sofa while watching TV etc? I don't really want to use it at work, it'd invite a lot of questions...

        I did kagel for six months, but it didn't help. I try to hold myself when I get close to edge porn. penis circumcision site very sensitive. 30 seconds in sexual intercourse, but I hold up. My premature ejaculation problem is very heavy, so the exercises do not work. I will follow you, success ..

          I do it every morning when sitting at the table drinking my coffee. My kitchen seat is wood so it's a hard surface. I use a tennis ball. No I do it every couple days to see if I find a tight or sensitive spot. It becomes more of a maintenance thing eventually

            In regards to the Hindi squat ( not hindu, thats totally different ) you should aim for at least 1-2, even 3 minutes on the down position. In 30 seconds you barely loosen up, and by the time you get up, PF clenches again so it's not much of a relaxation. You should aim for hindi because it provides one of the best stretches.
            Don't be fooled if you don't feel loose the first few days, it took me over 12 days to finally make the PF stretch.
            The baby pose is a good alternating yoga, I do it everyday along with hindi. But here we as well have a few problems. If you keep your knees at the same level with your sholders, you won't feel much of a stretch.
            Belly breathing for both are very important, and without it, the benefits will not be visible pretty soon.

            I would recommend doing only yoga for the first week, no kegels at all, and only then start with them and reverse kegels. After you start to feel loose, reverse kegels will feel totally different and provide much better understandment.
            I'm not cured either, but if you look at my log, minor results started to come after almost 2 weeks.

              So I feel I had a bit of a breakthrough last night. During my third ever edging session with my FL I decided, rather than go strsight into using the FL like before (and reaching the PONR immediately), I decided to begin with hand masturbation for a few minutes, focusing on calming down. Once I was calm I then decided to begin with the FL. I managed to last 5 fullstrokes before reaching the PONR, then went back to my hands for a few minutes until I calmed down again. I kept doing this for 20 minutes and managed to last reasonably well.

              I concluded, for somebody new to the FL it’s best to mix it with hand masturbation to begin with. If I go straight to the FL it’s immediately game over. Hopefully over time I will get more and more used to the FL and can last longer and longer, but for now it’s a big improvement and has helped my confidence knowing I CAN last more than one stroke.

              Im truly starting to feel that my issue is predominantly performance anxiety combined with sensitivity and lack of experience. Edging has provided my biggest results by a mile.

                Thanks, do you think I should reduce the number of stretches to just Hindi and happy baby, and do them for longer then? I’m not sure if the other poses do a lot, they were just recommended on the 90 day challenge.

                    in our particular case, number of exercises we do are irelevant, what's important if the quality of performance of how we do it.
                    first 3-4 days i think i got them all wrong, and later tried to copy exact movements by the youtube clips and saw improvements

                    for example, in the baby pose, if you look closely, they say keep back straight and with your hands pus your body towards your feet, but i wasnt keeping my back straight. when that changed, i would feel a different expansion with every breath.
                    same for hindi sqats, since I was so rigid, i could hold the hindi squat in the down position for just 10-20 seconds, that was enough for like just 2-3 breathes. when that changed and I forced more time into the down position, i really felt that the exercise is supposed to do.

                    after you reached the correct position and just sit there, just breathing and relaxing, you will notice how the PF relaxes with every breath you take ( diaphragmic breathing ). As you get better and better, just spread the knees more and more and the stretch will always improve.
                    I do this first for 15-20 minutes as a warmup, and then do hindi squats as I find them best done when already heated up.

                      Definite improvement in edging again yesterday, using the same technique as before (begin with hands, move onto FL). Managed to get up to 10 strokes in the FL a few times and could feel my confidence growing. I think I got a bit arrogant and while my goal was to not climax, I ended up climaxing before 20 minutes. Not ideal and will make sure to take it slower moving forward, but definitely feeling better about FL edging.

                      Future goal is just to keep lasting longer with slow strokes, then eventually be able to speed up the strokes.

                        More edging progress with the FL, I am no longer experiencing any performance anxiety and it is definitely helping. I edged for 20 minutes without climaxing, and while the first 5 minutes was with my hands, the remaining 15 minutes was strictly with the FL. I'm still taking breaks after 10-15 slow strokes but I am beginning to experiment more and more. I'm finding it quite fun actually. I attached the back of the FL for the first time as a test, which gives it A LOT more suction and makes you reach the PONR soon, but it's fun to mix it up a bit. I'm just going to keep trying to last longer and longer at a slow pace before I eventually try and speed up the strokes. Also need to try different positions.

                        I am still doing kegel and stretch exercises but my main focus is on edging right now since that is where I feel I am making good progress.

                          Maybe stop kegels a few days and do just stretching?
                          Also, I find that sometimes when I do fast strokes, PONR comes later rather than with slow strokes. Maybe it's just me. Congrats on your success. WillGetBetter said "we have to crawl before we walk" hehe.

                            I agree with the fast strokes, I experience that too.

                              Yeah I agree with the fast strokes vs. slow strokes as well at times. With fast strokes you sometimes stop feeling the full sensation but with slow strokes you feel everything vividly.

                              Last night wasn't totally successful with the edging, I felt as good as the night before but I ultimately climaxed after around 15 minutes, again with lots of stopping, when I didn't want to at all. My awareness of my arousal level with a FL still isn't the best so I'm often not aware of when I need to stop. I think it's because with a FL you are ALWAYS highly stimulated along the entire stroke (in and out) and in one stroke you can easily go from a 5 arousal to a 10 if you aren't careful. With a hand you have far more control and with each stroke your arousal doesn't change that significantly.

                              I feel like I need a plan when i go into edging as right now I am just going in with the goal of getting to 20 minutes. I think I am going to start tracking how long it takes to reach the PONR with medium paced strokes and try to increase this gradually over sessions.
