So I am in the middle of an edging session last night. I slow down as I approach PONR and I am able to manage it, but I noticed that after a few minutes I could not do a reverse kegal to counter my arousal going up. I had to stop completely, but even afterwards I could feel like I was still all tense in my pelvic region even after a few seconds I was able to calm down. It was not an IK, the whole region was tight. I have come to understand the difference and I have been able to control the IK. My main issue now is sensitivity in a couple of spots I am trying to master. Another reason I say I was tense in my pelvic region is because no matter how hard i tried to do a reverse kegal, I could not feel the PC or BC muscle moving or loosening up no matter how hard i pushed. If I had pushed any harder I would have popped a blood vessel. I know not to push that hard, but I was trying to test it out and see if I could find the root of the problem. Should I have stopped my edging session completely and done some stretches, used the tennis ball or something in that instance?

Quite the opposite. 41 years old, but my libido never really slowed down. A few years ago, I decided to go back to school so I got back on Vyvanse. I'm part of that 1% that it actually makes my libido higher. I swear, it's like being 18 again. Wife can't keep up so I started taking care of myself, but like every man, we try to do it quick. Since I could blame it on a "medical condition" she understood. She just didn't want to see it because it would make her feel as if she wasn't enough.

No.
Its a natural thing for your body to ejaculate and when you don't it can result in tension.
My usual recomend is to reach goal time and ejaculate if you want to . The brain is trained at this point to last the time you want it to not to just blast early in the piece .
I certainly do go multi times edging without ejaculation but then I am 59y and my libido is less than it was .

Has it happened before?
I got those days when the excitement level would just peak and there was nothing I could do but stop (or ejaculate, which I did not want to do) so I'd just walk away, do yoga, stretches, etc, and try later.
Could be the stance you are standing/sitting. Try different positions?
That is what I would have done, walk away and try later.03/2015 Start <Able to last ~ 2 mins PIV>

I'm not sure if it's happened before. It probably has. I am just now noticing it because I am trying to pay attention to my body's responses.
I didn't ejaculate, but I was pretty close to it. I was able to come back down.
For now I am edging while I lie down. I want to master it lying down before I start trying it in other positions such as sitting up etc.
Around age 25 I started to...
