There's a lot of good info in your posts so I think it's fine - but I did feel the same with a couple of my posts haha, you just don't want to leave anything important out.
I agree, now I've proven I can control myself and I'm become aware of when I'm tensing, I should be more disciplined and use the FL more.
It's interesting you found the QS more sensitive that the 'normal' FL, I found using the STU it was pretty hard to control at first but when I slowed it down it wasn't too bad. If I slowed to say 30spm (I guess that's very slow) I could definitely last a few minutes without stopping and I'm normally leave my penis in the STU until the sensation subsided then started again.
I do involuntary kegel, I even notice when I use my hand but then I relax. Does the tennis ball massage help with this as well?
I guess next steps, maybe I should use my STU whenever I get the chance but invest in a QS so at least when I do use my hand I'm exposing myself to a greatest sensation - guess you can't really 'prop' the QS.
So I guess I need to look at the best ways to prop my STU up so you fuck it in more realistic positions!

As a quick update, when I was going to masturbate tonight I kinda couldn't be bothered to edge, so as a compromise I decided to use the Fleshlight STU!
If I'm taking this seriously, I guess I just need to be more disciplined and at least try and use this 3-4 times away.
I only lasted about 30-40 seconds but I did wedge the STU between my bed frame and mattress. Maybe I should use the STU just sitting for a week just to get into the routine and used to the texture more - or would you advise just diving straight into thrusting as it's more realistic?
I found this quite awkward due to the height, so maybe I need to just lay the STU flat on my desk and fuck it that way, or maybe wedge it between a few pillows on the bed so it has a bit more height.
I lasted 30-40 seconds but couldn't really say how fast/slow I went. I think I could've stopped or slowed down but I was after a bit of a quickie - will try not to do that for the rest of the week.
Is it best to just fuck the Fleshlight naturally and not worry about pace, try speeding up/down and just stop more and over time your penis will get used to it and naturally the time will increase? I don't know how much benefit will comes from going slow enough just so I last 4-5 minutes without stopping?

1. As for sensitivity:
A single QS is way better than a hand, as it's soft, can be warm and there is a disconnection between your penis and hand. What I mean is it's like trying to tickle yourself. It's easier using some tools than your own hand.
After that a FL or a double connected QS is better as they fully encompasses the penis so each move will be felt by the glans. For me a double QS is a bit more sensitive than other FLs i have but that is a personal preference. They all are high but everyone has their favorite type (there are web pages with people reviewing different FL models and textures)
The big plus of a QS is it's ease of use which makes a big difference so you don't have much of an excuse to use your hand even for a quicky. And because it's a lot cheaper than a FL you can make yourself a present and buy one and if you like it then buy another one and a connector.
If I would have to find a negative is that a QS is more noisy, but that's not a problem for me as I live alone.
2. As for progressing:
I started out with a STU. I was aiming to last 10min minimum and best 20min even if it meant stopping. Why so "long"? One is to simulate sex, but then again any amount of time with a FL does not translate to sex 1:1. Two is that more things happen when you edge longer and your sensitivity may go down, RKs start working and other things to experience. And even a random spell of "wow, I can suddenly trust freely as I never could" can be a big progress as your brain gets a demo version of how it is to be normal
As you get more comfortable you can add more like: limiting amount of stops, not stopping but slowing down, speeding up and other or as I wrote stop using it with a hand and prop it up.
This is a big step up. Best if the first positions are stable and relaxed. For me it was fully standing up as you also don't have to tilt your pelvis much and it was easier for me to relax my PF. For that I used the shower mount which is nice. The only problem is that the hinge breaks after some time and you can't lock it at an angle.
I also bought other FLs just to see different sensations. But there was still the hassle of cleaning and drying ending with not using it often enough.
That's why I did a search and tried buying a QS. And that was a great investment for me. From there on I didn't have to use my hand (and then have a worn out dick after too much edging)
A single QS is easier than a FL as you can move away from the glans. Also as a bonus you can keep stroking when orgasming which in a FL can be painful. That gave me even more mind blowing orgasms.
And after that I wanted more so I bought one more QS with a connector, did some DIY ways to prop it up so I could also thrust in as with a mounted FL. And that's my setup for today. Any masturbation is quite long but at least 20min, I don't use my hand but the double QS and I can't remember when I last used one of my FL.
So all in all, try gradually upping the challenge but aim to use the STU or QS. I don't know how important it's to only use a QS/FL instead of your hand. For me now it's that I don't even what to use my hand as it's not as good as a QS and leaves my penis all puffed up (yes, I am using lube, lots of it, but still the hand is rough when used to often).
3. Tennis ball massage:
There is a bit written about it so I don't know how much I would have to explain. I think it does work for me and is a daily part of my routine. But I had to adapt it a bit for me. I use ball the size of a tennis ball but having a softer outer layer. So it's stiff but not so rough, thanks to that I can relax easier. I also do it while in a hindu squat, propping the ball on a stack of books. This way I can target what I want easier. I start of with a soft ball, then change it to the harder and all takes about 10 min.
I'm also experimenting with putting a finger or two on the ball so it's between the ball and PF. This way you can feel what is really happening there and have some feedback.
After that I do a hindu squat and massage my PF using my fingers trying to find any tight spots.

Obviously there is no special/magic formula, everyone is different and it just takes time. Without knowing it I've kinda overcome this before naturally, I guess when it happened I just switched off, relaxed and once I'd had sex and it wasn't a problem I never looked back - until I'd been single/sexually inactive again.
Looks like the main is the edge (I guess the odd cheeky quick wank isn't a biggie) and be as disciplined as possible in practicing. And as for going slow and longer, or fast and stopping more ...it doesn't matter, mix it up as that is closer to what you'll do when having sex anyway. So just experiment and have fun - if nothing else, you're mixing it up so it's not as boring/regimented.
I think I'll invest in a QS Vantage(?), they're not that expensive and it seems like a good alternative for when I can't be fussed using a FL.
Ideally, from what has been said, given the position and trying to fuck like you naturally would rather than sitting moving the FL up/down. I'd be quite interested in one of those fake pussy/ass toys as I guess that would simulate that very, very well. But they look kinda pricey and I guess the cheaper ones aren't very good at all!
